It would be also welcome the addition of doors animations. A missing feature on all default MSFS aircraft.

The doors of the default TBM 930 can now be opened.

Is there a trick to closing the rear door? I opened it and found it difficult to get it closed again. Had to squirm around with my track IR to reach the door lever from inside the plane. The close button next to the door did not seem clickable.

The Premium Deluxe version finally paid off.

I might finally regret cheaping out on just plain old Deluxe

Kind of surprised that the usual flight sim youtubbers aren't on this yet.

Also, I'd love to see a serious tutorial video that doesn't spend the first 5 minutes telling me to "hit that subscribe button" and "smash that like button" and be sure to hit the notification bell so I don't miss any new content.

That would be a dream, like YouTube for grownups

Yeah, assuming the button should work but it doesn't. You have to click the lever currently. I also found out you have to push the front door lever down after closing it to make it lock.

it and the TBM were the first two planes I used for a good 6 months early on.  Did the default plane get upgraded by Asobo so I don't need to install anything else?

They’re currently in beta. Planned to be out in January.

When and how will this be released into the main stream?

Should the FMS automatically calculate V speeds based on weight / takeoff config, or do we need to manually do this? From what I’ve seen so far, they stay the same no matter what my payload and config are, so I’m guessing it needs to be manually done…unless it’s just not an implemented feature yet?

I think the "how" might have been implied. AAU1 will be released as have been the other SU and WU upgrades, i.e., automagically and with no small amount of teeth gnashing. But, hey, it seems to work eventually.

So the formal update should be out before the Christmas break I reckon.

As mentioned in the dev updates and the dev Q&A, AAU1 is currently targeted for some time in January.

You must complete the pages in perf data, including the weight page and the takeoff and landing data pages.
