FS Traffic released!

The update addressed a bug that was stopping traffic activating at the same time so your density of movements should increase with this update.

Anything specific that's putting you off updating?

This was always outside the scope of the initial FS Traffic release. Unfortunately most default airport gates in MSFS aren't set up with parking codes for airlines or cargo. Something we are looking at for the future.

Not in this update. This was mainly to address overall stability. We will be updating the database at some point along with including some past databases.

i hope you make make traffic from the 90's so we can have concorde back

Live traffic matching is broken for all AI addons, so it wouldn't matter at the moment.

why there is only parked traffic and no movement live in airports? no taxiing landing or departing aircrafts

I just set up a STAR approach into NZQN using FSiPanel. Prior to starting the flight I set NZQN as the destination airport within FGS Traffic and confirmed. Landed and not a single plane anywhere.

Update did not bring anything new for me other than cruise traffic flying at FL320 regardless of their direction. As far as I can tell there's no altitude separation for AI generated flights. They all fly at FL320 both directions completely unrealistic. Still very few aircraft at cruise 2 - 3 at most, still no traffic at destination, still FS Traffic crashes mid flight that renders it useless. FSLTL is still my number 1. My worst purchase of the year is FS Traffic and PRO ATC SR.

Been using FSLTL for about a week now. it seems to do everything well, traffic everywhere and pretty stable. No issues at all, and free is terrific.

I do think FS Traffic wins worst addon ever produced for MSFS award!

It's quite shocking how they've managed to make it so awful and consequent updates just haven't fixed it.

Can’t disagree, and I also love FSLTL with AIGround and AIFlow.

At least the planes from FSTraffic are nice and work well with FSLTL’s injector.  Maybe that should be their focus - filling out their hangar with the planes (maybe some GA  and military?)

personally, very happy with my FS Traffic purchase,

please let us have lots more & a larger variety of AI models… 🙂

How do you limit traffic density with fstraffic?  I don't seem to have the slider any more since the last update

Hello.

A new update to the core installer is now available. This update focuses mainly on improvements to the Traffic Control Centre. No need to reinstall the fleet package, V1.0.3 is still current version.

Changelog is as follows.

v1.0.4 - FS Traffic Core Installer ONLY

  • TCC: Reskinned Traffic Control Centre interface
  • TCC: All pop-up interfaces now always on top
  • TCC: Crash when creating flight plans at airport where no plans currently exist - fixed
  • TCC: Clear button now clears the fields
  • TCC: Warning added for when a database cannot be accessed successfully
  • TCC: Additional feature - when creating a new schedule, if a pln file doesn't exist it will create it for you
  • TCC: Generated random flight number changed to 4 digits when creating a new schedule
  • TCC: VMR file and database updated
  • TCC: Error when deleting an entry from the Aircraft Livery Manager - fixed
  • TCC: Aircraft Manager->Livery Manager: Saves not applying to newly created aircraft - fixed
  • TCC: Updated manual
  • Module: Airlines database update - Norwegian Air NAX>NOZ
  • Module: Aircraft ini file update - Norwegian Air NAX>NOZ
  • Module: Five Title= entries in ini files now supported (increased from three)

Thanks

You can reduce the Time Before Departure value in the Options page of the Traffic Control Centre. This will reduce the number of models spawned in at the gates but ensure you still see the correct number of departures and arrivals. The reason for the slider being removed was that it was causing instability which would cause FS Traffic to crash.

Great to hear! The  A350-100, 757-200/300, 767-300 and 737 Max are coming soon.

I am also very happy with my FST purchase. I hope you'll continue to improve it and also expand it in the future.

I posted this in the livery request section of JF forum, however, I guess it won't hurt to post it here too. Could you include LOT 787-9 livery in one of the future updates? No one seems to be willing to do it and it's really missed, considering that all other LOT liveries are present.

Thanks!
