May 5, 20233 yr I cannot say enough good things about this plane; it does seem to be a labor of love for the developers and that is always a good sign. It flies very well, as well as the C310, and you can really feel the difference in weight between the two aircraft. It now almost has a fully customized electrical system as well, the reason for the various updates/fixes in the past month. I have the same feeling of immersion I have with the C310. The texturing is top notch. It does not have failures yet but I hope the developers will push on and introduce at least a basic failure model, but I have not found it takes away for the experience. What is great about the 414 is that it is pressurized and you can get great speed and distance. MSFS 2024. May 5, 20233 yr I'd call it a tie between the 310R and the 414 as far as best twin engine GA addon. Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10 MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled) 8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled) 32GB DDR4 3000 Ram 500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2
May 5, 20233 yr Just love the C414 - have a lot of hours in the real word with them - as a previous poster said the sound just takes me back to the aeroplane - also it's great fun to get the props synced (I know there is a syncrophaser fitted) but I like the pleasure of keeping them synced myself - it is also my goto aeroplane for hand flying ILS approaches - both the C310 & the C414 have steam ILS indicators but the C310's one is low on the panel whereas the C414's is up in easy line of sight (I grew up on the old indicators & am not really a fan of the type that is on a FD) - also flying with a haptic seat just makes those landing thumps so much more real - all in all my favourite twin - closely followed by the C310 Rattso Cooler Master Cosmos 700M - MSI Godlike X (Devillike!!) - AMDD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (water cooled) - 128gb Corsair Vengeance 5200 D5 - ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Liquid OC GDDR7 32GB - EVGA 2000W P/S - Creative AE-7 - intel Optane 500gb - 3x 2tb M2 SSDs - 2x 2tb Samsung EVO SSDs - 1x Hybrid 2tb HDD - Brunner CLS-63E Joystick - Honeycombe Bravo quadrant - Brunner CLS-B rudder pedals - Samsung Odessey Ark 55" - G9 49" monitor
May 5, 20233 yr The 310R and the 414 are both great twins but I have fifty plus sim hours in the 414 and maybe six in the 310R...Like others have said, it has character. OTHOH I think the 310R in MSFS is much better than in FSX/P3D, it seems more alive, Maybe its the visual effect but the MSFS model feels higher fidelity to me.
May 5, 20233 yr I really like the 414. Especially it's version of the flight computer. It's unique - I don't think any other plane in the sim has quite the same avionics. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
May 6, 20233 yr Author I love that you can absolutely open everything on this plane, I mean, literally, everything. Right off the bat you realize the care and attention the developers have put, and are putting, into this plane.
May 7, 20233 yr Author Have to say, I'm glad I bought this. Best 40 bucks I've spent in a while. 1. Animations are top notch. 2. Using FSRealistic's first person mode, you can walk around the plane and physically close most of the stuff that is open 3. Outstanding sounds 4. Gauges are easy to read 5. Plane behaves very well. Outstanding ground handling. No jerking around when applying rudder. 6. Easy to trim and hand fly 7. Basic autopilot modes work well 8. Smooth altitude capture 9. Outstanding lights - especially the retractable landing lights
May 9, 20233 yr interesting about the landing & taxi lights - I just can't get the switches to active on either the C310 or the C414 - mouseover changes the switches to blue but I can't seem to activate them - any clues as to what I am doing wrong? May 11, 20233 yr tried all those things but still can't get the lights to work - seems strange that it only occurs on both the 310 & 414 - all othe aircraft work fine - suppose some sort of gremlin resides in my system Rattso Cooler Master Cosmos 700M - MSI Godlike X (Devillike!!) - AMDD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (water cooled) - 128gb Corsair Vengeance 5200 D5 - ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Liquid OC GDDR7 32GB - EVGA 2000W P/S - Creative AE-7 - intel Optane 500gb - 3x 2tb M2 SSDs - 2x 2tb Samsung EVO SSDs - 1x Hybrid 2tb HDD - Brunner CLS-63E Joystick - Honeycombe Bravo quadrant - Brunner CLS-B rudder pedals - Samsung Odessey Ark 55" - G9 49" monitor

May 11, 20233 yr Amazing. Had since it's beta release last year and fly it often. They continuously update the plane so you can ensure when they add something it doesn't break other things. I love and fly this far more often than the blackbird 310 and don't regret it. It flies, looks and sounds fantastic. Very minimal bugs. I just checked and apparently there was another release! Looks like I am headed to their store page for another download lol. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
