July 14, 20232 yr For a while now I am rarely seeing lights from AI traffic anymore. This regardless whether the AI traffic setting is real time or offline. I am using Simple Traffic from Aerosoft as the only AI traffic related mod. Occasionally I can spot an AI plane if I get really close, but I almost can't remember the last time I was able to spot one in the distance. Just flew in to EKCH with plenty of night time traffic and not a single blinking light anywhere 😪 The same goes for contrails... in fact I have never seen any contrails in the sky in my sim. I have gone through all my settings and I don't think I have missed a tick somewhere. Happy to hear any suggestions for fixes or things to try 🤞🙏

July 15, 20232 yr In my very humble opinion, FSLTL has a far better injection system. AIG crashes more often than a 2 year old learning to ride a bike Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs

July 15, 20232 yr FSLTL is the superior AI. AIG like others have mentioned is a cluttered, bloated mess. July 15, 20232 yr Its such a shame, because AIG has so many more models and liveries but is completely let down by a clunky and overly complex Manager and a terrible injection system. I like the idea of being able to use offline traffic files (not reliant on live traffic data like FSLTL is) so I can fly anytime and see traffic representative of that time of day, but the reality is the AIG traffic injector is simply no match for that of FSLTL. July 15, 20232 yr AIG 'suffers' from being configurable. Users have the choice between payware or freeware models, choosing over 1,000 various airlines, government aircraft and bizjet operators from all over the World, and allowing users the choice to update schedules and aircraft or not, and even retain defunct airlines. None of that is possible in FSLTL. That said, FSLTL's UI is fresher. It's 'better' in that it's not customisable and is actually just a one-click install. FSLTL also has better night lighting and contrails. However, if you want lots of AI traffic in less popular parts of the World, smaller airlines, or even just non-airline traffic, AIG is the way to go. Using both packages, with PSXTraffic as my injector, gives me a fantastic experience. AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440) Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter
July 15, 20232 yr I also use both. FSLTL is my primary and I only use the AIG models not included with FSLTL. Example would be 757, 737 Max, etc. Dan i9-13900K / Asus Maximus Hero Z790 / RTX 4090 FE / G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64 GB DDR5-6400 CL32 / Artic Liquid Freezer II 360 / Samsung 980 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 / Samsung 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 / Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 / EVGA 1000W G3, 80+ Gold / Phanteks Eclipse P600S ATX Mid Tower / Arctic P14 PWM Case Fans / LG C2 42 Inch Class 4K OLED TV/Monitor / Windows 11 Pro / 1Ghz AT&T Fiber
July 15, 20232 yr Something I really like in the latest FSLTL update is they have managed to stop aircraft from jumping up and down every few seconds as they taxi. That has annoyed me for years.

I'm very happy with World of AI. Ha! In FSX though, even though I'm permanently stuck in circa 2010. But I tried boosting the FSLTL IFR traffic level to 175 in MSFS today and did two short hops MUC-FRA-LHR. Yeahhh pretty darned ok, got quite a bit of traffic lining up for takeoffs, and fun to watch a few landings too while waiting. I've always enjoyed planespotting during longer waits for departure and the building anticipation as it gets closer to being your turn.

Sitting at JFK AIG 231: FSLTL 196 : Though it also depends on how many airlines you have installed for AIG. I have every single one installed. 11 hours ago, Sethos said: Only thing garbage here is the entire installation process and interface of AIG.
