@Captain Blackbird Is there any intention to include any of the checklists in the 2024 native EFB tablet please?

Something is wrong with my version. I was trying to start APU like in video but instead engine started one by one. Some switches in this vid do not work for me. I can't flick them on of off. I'll give it a shot later again

Any one else find the parking brakes seem very weak?  I started one engine last night, accidentally had the throttle in beta (not full beta) and the aircraft took off backwards.

Once I got all engines started I found the throttles needed to be exactly at idle or the plane would quickly accelerate with the parking brake on.

Same experience for me. The throttle levers have to be exact, or they slip into reverse (beta).

Hey guys, thank you everyone for your feedback since our Alpha launch, its been seriously invaluable! The team is already hard at work on the first wave of updates scheduled to come out sometime next week, along with the first price increase for those who haven't bought in yet. Just a quick reminder to send reported bugs/ improvement suggestions to our dedicated support forum (sent to you by email when purchased), so our devs can look directly at your feedback.

Have a great weekend guys!

This thing is quality.

Let me be quite blunt here..

ANYONE WHO DOESNT SNAP THIS UP NOW AT $25 IS A BUFFOON !

I’m a real airline pilot and I endorse this message 😄

787 captain.

Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.

Finding this really frustrating now.

Fuel loading doesnt work, much of the EFB seems to be inop

One of the APU panel switches doesnt work

***Cant align the nav system - there's no information on how to initialise it - FMC is asking me to input the date, but no date format Ive tried seems to be acceptable - OK WORKED THIS OUT***

When system are powered up, my fps is dropping to 35, and thats with a 9800X.

😞

Hi mate,

You need to pressurize the Hyd System.  APU on, then to the right of the gear handle are your elec Hyrdraulic switches.  Turn them on, the numbers will increase, and you will have brake pressure.

Hey y'all, we just released our 0.6 Update to the Dirty Thirty Alpha.

Included are a host of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements—including enhanced controls, smoother tablet functionality, improved textures, and much more.

Check out the full changelog here: https://blackbirdsims.com/flight/changelog/D-30_Changelog.txt

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR EVERYONE
To streamline storage & keep the base download size more manageable, we’ve separated the liveries from the main installer. Simply visit the Dirty Thirty product page to access & download the liveries, then unzip them into your MSFS2024 Community folder.

PRICE INCREASE
As we continue to improve the D30 and roll out new features, the price will gradually increase to reflect the growing value of the aircraft. Following this latest update, the first price adjustment will take effect—rising from $24.99 to $29.99 USD. If you haven’t picked it up yet, there’s still time! Grab it at the current price before Monday, May 12th at 9:00 AM Eastern.

Learn More about the D30 here: https://blackbirdsims.com/flight/PG.php?id=85

*** Note: the solution to the issue is listed in the post below. I just thought I'd leave the details of the error message in case someone seeing the same thing is able to find this while searching. ***

I've been getting a consistent error when I try to install 0.6.

"Error getting file attributes:

<my community folder>\milviz-aircraft-d30\SimObjects\Dirty30\liveries\milviz\Short_99_5479\thumbnail. GelLastError: 448."

After that, it just backs out the whole install. Anyone else seeing that?

I've downloaded it multiple times, so I don't think it's a corrupted download.

Never mind. I hadn't deleted the old version before I installed the new one. All good now.

Hey everyone! The Blackbird Simulations' A6M5 Zero is LIVE.

We’ve spent countless hours of research to try and mimic the most authentic known characteristics of the aircraft, as well as to capture the feel of the aircraft as described by historical records.
We hope you enjoy it!
