First results with the new Concorde on LFPG with AIG Traffic are awful. Was getting 15fps and had to severely limit traffic to achieve 25. 😕

Man, I'd be be bummed with that kind of performance on a system like yours.

I use 4K monitors and have a 8gb video card...will it work on my end? I have no plans to change videocard will 5000 series Nvidia card come to the market

It's reccommended 11gb+ on the VRAM end if you've a 4k monitor
I'm on 1080p on a 8GB card and I'm struggling to run this thing, albeit my card is somewhat outdated.

Not yet. I am currently running P3D on the highest possible settings, so I will try to optimize a bit first during the weekend. Pretty sure this is a platform problem and not an issue with the Concorde, though.

I should have asked what performance was like with a PMDG737 if you own it.

I don’t anticipate having all sliders to the right with the new machine. I favour more Ai over more buildings and EA will be off too.

A question for hardcore P3D users: I'd like to use Concorde's 2D HP Palmtop and the INS panels on a touch monitor that I have. Anyone know if this is possible? Currently my touch inputs are not being registered.

I understand suitable screens include a second monitor or an iPad or equivalent for the Palmtop. Not sure about the INS input but I suspect mouse operation only. FSL staff will know.

It is possible to pop-out the Palmtop and INSs, but, from what I've seen, there is a P3D limitation regarding touch input recognition on second monitors. Thanks, I'll research some more.

Installation seems to be for specialists. First download some sort of application which should install the plane. It refuses to install as there is no netruntime something in my PC.

And that’s with EA off too

Why is that? - is it known as performance killer?

It is a bit cumbersome, indeed

Good point Ray.  At least narrow down what the issue could be because you can't get a much better system than BC has.  If the 737 has good frame rates then that could be an issue with the plane and his combination of sim settings.   A 7800X3d and 4090 with those frame rates should just never happen 🙂

Maybe FSL should release a Neanderthal Edition that installs via stone tablets and doesn't require pesky things like the same dot net runtime that many (most?) other new titles need for ancillary library support.

C'mon now, some white-belt level Google-Fu and five minutes of your time and you should be able to get yourself setup with the latest dot net runtime.  If you can configure and fly a flight sim, surely you can master something that trivially easy rather than excoriate the dev for trying to make installation and configuration as easy as possible.

It’s certainly hard on my old 1080Ti especially in 4K. But it’s the aesthetics of how the clouds, Sky, ground and virtual cockpit appears. In order, too indistinct with no detail, not blue enough at altitude, a blueish tint I dislike and far too dark. Look at the VC in the videos. It’s black but Concorde’s panel is medium grey.

He confessed all sliders were to the right. I’m sure once adjusted performance will be fine. 30 should be achievable even at large airports. I’m sure Concorde isn’t a frame rate eater.

Anti-piracy measures and to make installation / reinstallation easier. It will be new to me since the 32-bit Concorde pre-dated the system and I don’t own any Scarebuses. 😁
