They’ve always had this policy. Agreed it’s not helpful when potential customers want to assess things before buying.

I don't think it was always, it was around the time after MSFS came out and there were Airbus's that they locked down their forums.

So my guess is they didn't want people to learn how to fly other Airbuses from their forum.

Does anyone know where the manuals are located on the PC after downloading and installing the Concorde?

Thanks

In today's flight my RAM reached 44GB out of my 64GB available, no CTD or stutters but I also think it is a lor of RAM

I would be interested in FSLabs comments regarding this. 44GB is a ridiculous amount of RAM to be using when most flight simmers have 32GB or less.

Usage appears to be linked to the HP computer. Despite the very high RAM usage and my 1080Ti working at 98% I haven’t had a single CTD.

One utility that’s invaluable is ChasePlane. In Concorde-X you had 2D popup panels for the various parts of the FE panel. Those have gone now and we have a fully operational FE panel in the VC.

Being able to setup views of it makes life so much easier. A mandatory purchase for Concorde I would say.

Is there any way to turn it off outside of the sm?

Cheers!

Absolutely not. It’s integral to all operations including loading a plan, number of pax, setting V speeds etc.

No doubt in time it will become second nature but not yet.

hmm 1080TI Ray now you got my hooked again 🙂 Looks like i only will have an upgrade in 2024 to 4090/5090.

Anyone willing to share the perf vs the Airbus series?

Thanks to all about the feedback! I strongly love the Concorde (real aircraft) and was very excited to get this one, but sadly it looks that we need a nasa computer to run it. So my wishlist is now a bit shorter...

Looks like FSX in the visuals of this British Concorde Simulator (?)...

So @stavka, that FSLabs Concorde is slow ?  I even bought P3Dv5 looking forward to try it, but after reading about the performance problems I believe I'll wait for a little bit longer before deciding to take the plunge 🙂

Yikes, when your product is Concorde and you've lost Ray...😲

In all seriousness, I hope FSL are able to iron out these issues and prep a clean MSFS release in a reasonably short period of time (read: not 5 years from now, which is if I recall correctly around when I submitted my response to them that I'd buy a Concorde for 64-bit P3D).

They seem to have done some innovative things here (with varying degrees of success, apparently!) and I'd love to see this thing in MSFS.

My PC ran it satisfactorily with fps in the mid 20s taxiing out to 27L at Heathrow with 30 Ai. Yes, a faster CPU and GPU would make things better but you don’t need to go as far as I am. I’m sure there’ll be further tweaks to reduce RAM usage but it’s important to point out I’ve had no crashes even with RAM hitting 31Gb.

I would love to try this latest P3D Concorde with my 64GB of RAM in P3D 5.4 - to see what the performance is like,

But, better to wait for the MSFS version to arrive…

Oh my God, please let the MSFS version come soon!

Please, please, please....... pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!

On a serious note, I hope that this consumption of resources will be corrected in a future update. Because if even my 32GB of RAM can't support this marvel, there's no point in trying....
