The cities are great though I’m confused about the choice to do EDDK when we have an excellent payware version.

Yes, me too. A bit disappointnent about that. Probabaly because the Gamescom is taking place is cologne. Whatever, this is frustrating for people who already have the payware version.

Not if the payware is better, but I don't own a payware EDDK so I can't compare.

But there are some parking size disappointments for AI Traffic users on the free one. None of the gates are big enough for A330s, and the cargo ramp parking is too small for some aircraft as well.

Some of the jetways also seem to be trying to connect to the right side of the aircraft.

Gamescom this year is at Cologne, so that's why per Jorg.

Annemasse what? never heard of this most renowned city of 37.000 inhabitants. ok they have a train station along the route Léaz–Saint-Gingolph, that explains it. 🤣

I thought he only knew someone who was born there. but if he himself was born there, that would explain it.

Still, I think this rendation looks decent. It would have been enough for me, since I don't fly there regulary. I have no issues paying for scenery but get frustrated if I could have used the money buying an airport somewhere else instead one that is rendered in msfs. I wished MSFS could be more transparant about it. I do understand they don't want to disturb the payware market but they should consider customer interest either.

In my dream world I want to have all relevant airports at the handcrafted airport quality at least, but this is pretty difficult to achieve considering payware versions cost between 10-25 Euros and you can not plan what airports are being released by MSFS. Of course I can understand that this would put more pressure on the scenery developers - this is not optimal way IMHO.

They should have rendered EDDL, ELLX or LSGG. As far as I know there is no good LSGG scnery, EDDL&ELLX are made my JustSim but as I read not recommendable because of their update-service.

Just a very short mention of v2024 and how they'll be showing it at Gamescom next year.

So MSFS2024 release Q3 or Q4 next year then.

like last year, and next year. and for all eternity.

Cologne established 2000 years ago as a Roman "Colony" in Germany. home of "Eau de Cologne" perfume.

The short time given to MSFS at a gaming event should be a positive by the simming community.

Jorg and Seb were at the >> Flightsim Expo << and gave us all the news we needed to see us through '2024 Trailergate'  !!

Because they are exciting and interesting the only thing I'd rather see them build than these would be something like a Convair 880 or 990... Modern jets are boring..
