Well, your cup is 3/4 empty and/or you rely on negative anticipation to help cope with uncertainty. What's obvious when I read your commentary is that it's 99% focused on what's lacking. For every 1 thing you focus on as a deficiency, there are 20 things done very well in MSFS. What's most hard to follow in your ultra-imbalanced portrayal of MSFS is that you still use it, despite it's in your words "comic" nature. I am in complete agreement in many of the shortcomings you point out and that every user here appreciates already. I think the reason you use MSFS is the same as all of us: it's the one sim of all that gives one the sense they're seeing what's actually there stock out of the box, in large part of course. This humble image of Standley Lake we walk around near our home is a classic example: looks exactly like this in real life. As we all know, this is the case in a lot of our world. But you'll focus on the place where it's messed up, and rag on about that element. So what will 2024 bring? It's been stated already, and I'm convinced already it will be a very worthy upgrade, though I won't expect perfection. And a few more humble images we see all day long flying MSFS: Rio: Medellin: Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. Aircraft used in MSFS 2024: Fenix A320, Aerosoft CRJ, FBW, WT 787X, I-Fly 737 MAX 8, Citation Longitude.

That’s not at all what trolling is tbh. Trolling is deliberately trying to upset people or get a reaction out of them. Filou is just expressing a view that’s different to yours.
September 3, 20232 yr There are so many little things that ruined and still ruin most of my flights. There are so many little things that could have been fixed. There was so much time to do it. There are so many doors to open for many talents. Are these the missions that make you dream? tornadoes? animal migration? They haven't yet invented anything extraordinary that could make us fall off my chair. I expect a lot more than that from my first 100 euros invested for this simulator. Let them start to make us dream with planes that do not have the weight of a paper plane What is this famous magic wand they found for MSFS2024.
September 3, 20232 yr I personally am very positive about MSFS 2024. Just now, filou said: There are so many little things that ruined and still ruin most of my flights. This sounds like such a negative experience. Most of your flights are ruined! Most of my flights are positively wonderful. Perfect? No, not at all. But wonderful, nonetheless. I don't have a problem with your comments, like others. I am, from a very personal and human perspective, confused by your continued use of a product that is literally ruined "most" of the time. But that's not really my problem. I have certainly owned products that gave me poor experiences, but I usually moved on to something else. We're all different, though!

I exclusively use live weather. I just really enjoy a lot of aspects of flying in MSFS, and I'm excited for the future. I'm currently doing a world tour w/ both the Comanche and BAE-146 and it's been a blast! Currently near Juneau, Alaska.

You are right, we all perceive things differently, and that's fine. I truly do think your opinion is valid. You don't owe it to anyone to enjoy MSFS, or any other sim. And I think you're as welcome as anyone to post that opinion (I don't think you're trolling). I just personally don't understand why you would continue to fly it when it's so awful for you, but that's for you to know and none of my business!

Hence the frustrations of all of the broken things in this sim, that ruin the overall experience for some.

Didn't get 100 Euros worth out of MSFS? That, is remarkable. Here's a thought: if you fly airliners consider picking up A Pilot's Life. It will have you focused on how well you operate the plane as it scores all flights according to a set criteria. This way you can focus on what works well and a huge amount does work exceedingly well, and ignore what causes this sense of ruin you describe. Perfectly reasonable (though I know many would say some of the other options are, indeed, quite a bit better). And if that's really what it comes down to---the best option is still frustrating and ruined most of the time---I guess I'm still confused by someone sticking around and continuing to be frustrated. Again, that's none of my business, but I still can't help my natural curiosity. I mean, I spent years not flight simming because every so often I'd look at the options and wouldn't be very excited about them. I had (and still have) many more pursuits in life that make me happy. MSFS was the first sim in a long time that really excited me and it has delivered for me, personally. I don't expect everyone to feel the same, I just find the behavior odd. It's almost like people feel like they're hostages to a sim, which I guess is part of the passion/addiction that it can be for many. Anyway, I'm probably beating a dead horse (work is slow and this is something to do). People have every right to do what they please...or what makes them miserable and frustrated 😉
