MSFS 2024 FAQ

Thank you! You are right, we all perceive things differently, and that's fine. I truly do think your opinion is valid. You don't owe it to anyone to enjoy MSFS, or any other sim. And I think you're as welcome as anyone to post that opinion (I don't think you're trolling). I just personally don't understand why you would continue to fly it when it's so awful for you, but that's for you to know and none of my business!

I use MSFS 2020 for something else like those who will use the future MSFS 2024 for a safari. Soon you will even be able to go fishing and take out your kite.  There are sides of MSFS that I like and have already claimed. Performance and ease of getting started. I only use MSFS 2020 with Google Map + Nvidia freestyle.
for the feeling of being in an airplane I use XP12 it helps a lot to forget the light effect of a paper airplane

I guess I'm still confused by someone sticking around and continuing to be frustrated.

Lack of better alternatives?

It's not like not liking Call of Duty... if you know what I mean 🙂

How do  paper airplanes fly? I have never flown one before in real life but I'm curious to hear your opinion. LOL

Ah old  good red herring fallacy LOL  But hey, I would love to see at least one  "big mouth" in cockpit of an airplane demonstrating his superior flying skills obtained in XP12 LOL Unfortunately I haven't seen one. But I think Austin marketing department should be proud LOL

I am real life GA pilot. Flight dynamics in XP12 are better than MSFS. Feels closer to what you experience in real life. However XP12 doesn’t compete with MSFS in 90% of the other areas.

As for Jets or heavies, I’ve no idea.

PS MSFS ground handling is abysmal.

I do need to say who am I do I? LOL In my opinion each sim flight model have certain advantages and disadvantages but neither is superior. But like you said another 90% environmental modeling is on side of MSFS

So am I and I don't agree. I'd rather call them equal; both have their flaws, both have their strong points. It also depends on the type of aircraft you fly. Calling X-Plane the better sim for flight dynamics is an opinion, not a fact, as you state it.

One more follower...

MSFS 2020 flight dynamics is a joke with unrealistic "Realistic" real weather.

With completely unpredictable and disconcerting behavior on the ground, take-off, flight and landing.

Learning how to fly, might be a good idea.
