provided they are not in any other places as well. if everything else fails, I would just leave the beta and hope that will overwrite the .exe.

Well it could also be 2 more weeks as beta testing starts early 😄

If you find the colors too exaggerated, try setting ColorGrading to 0 in UserCfg.opt. I think it looks much better.

how do you make that change stick? it always reverts back to 1 after editing it successfully to 0, but as soon as MSFS starts it is back to 1.

store version, could it be limited access rights? but how come I can change the value in notepad and save it no problem?

If you are on a preset, you need to replace the preset name with 'Custom' in the usercfg.

Also if you make any changes in the Sim Menu in settings it will resort to 1.

You can set the file to Read Only if you are happy with settings, but then any changes you make in the In-Sim Settings will only apply to that time you have the sim open, and the next time it will resort to the values saved in the Read Only usercfg.

can someone post a before/after screenshot?

"If you are on a preset, you need to replace the preset name with 'Custom' in the usercfg. "

I found one named "Preset Ultra" and another one "Preset VRDefault".

not sure how the sim would find the correct settings for VR if I changed that name?

On other good news, the wishlist item for ARPC is now marked as "Fixed (SU_14)", so it sounds like they've finished.

PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM.

Simulators I'm using: X-Plane 12, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and FlightGear.

best news of the day, thanks so much Biology. this wouldn't have happened without you. a 55 page thread speaks volumes. great example how a dedicated, knowledgeable single user who posted nothing but sheer facts and scientific information can make such a difference.
