update of the atmospheric engine in MSFS 2020

Joerg: I thought it was cool

Seb: in the completely reworked atmospheric engine that we have, we don't have that issue, we have a much better color engine in there.

but we plan to change the parameters of the 2020 atmospheric engine, so that this gets significantly improved in MSFS 2020, we can't really integrate a complete revamp of the atmospheric engine, but we will do our best to adjust the settings so that it looks better in MSFS 2020 already, almost like a step in the right direction. a preview of what is going to be there later.

Jörg: for what its worth, we all really liked, we all read the thread, and thought, hmmmmh, cool!

Thank you, never thought to look in there, doh!

I cant seem to get it to work, must be doing something wrong. I've dropped the 3 files into the /Content folder where FlightSimulator.exe is, but regardless of live / toggle or what I set coefficients too, nothing changes?

EDIT: This is probably my fix, trying now:

tldr : EXE must be ca. 140 MB size and you need write access (ownership) to flightsimulator.exe

for editing I use nothing but Windows default notepad without any problems.
