Good analogy (for us Brits). 49 minutes ago, Ianrivaldosmith said: that it will just be some big marketing stuff to get everyone all excited, without addressing all of the current problems, such as Low Level LOD on airport objects, poor AI, poor ATC, poor ground textures (coloured mis matched), etc etc all the usual long standing bugs that seem to have just been swept under the carpet. I’m sure there is tons more. All upvoted. Probably to be ignored. Ignored? Probably for MSFS2020. Despite local legends, CUs, and WUs, it's already on the path to being sunsetted. The ambition of the features listed in recent SUs demonstrates this, IMO. People are going to riot if a lot of the long-standing MSFS2020 issues aren't tackled in the new sim. September 27, 20232 yr I'd love to hear more about 2024 as I think any significant improvements we see going forward will be realized there. However, 2024 is a looooong way out and I doubt we'll get any new info until we're well into 2024. I'm w/ Ryan, I'd love to hear more about MU-2 a bit. I'm a simpleton who loves to fly different planes even if they don't fit the "study level" descriptor.

And they won't discuss this procedure either. So it's gonna be a Q&A without a real Q. I know what I expect from this one.... Ugghhh. I prefer the old system where we upvote the questions. I am mostly interested by the present state of affairs, what I have in my hands, FS20, to know what they will do to improve it (bugs, missing features) in the next twelve months. September 27, 20232 yr Still banging on about a horizon line? That was chosen as a top ten ? Wow. What was the cause of the loading bug issue in the beta of SU12..... Who cares?!
September 27, 20232 yr white horizon line has been fixed in 2024, it just wasn't in time for the trailer. They can't completely fix the white line in 2020 without completely rewriting the atmosphere engine like they did in 2024, so they have work arounds to try and hide it in 2020, but it will still occasionally show up.
