This almost looks like a pre planned q&a. Like who cares what causes the loading bug in su12 beta ??

Exactly what I said...

I think the questrion of terrain texture morphing was briefly posed by Jayne but I didn't get the answer (if there was one). Can anyone elucidate, as this has been with us now for a year now.

Kind regards, Michael

Nope, no answer, same as low LOD in airports that was also ignored.

No more 2024 info until the spring.

Long time to wait... hope to be included in beta testing if they have it.

They said it would be tied to some big announcement. Probably some big marketing strategy.

They said a huge modern airliner. I'm thinking a payware A380 or a A350.

🤞A350.

It'd be a bit harsh if iniBuilds 'kills off' both the FBW A32N *and* the FBW A380.

Am a little disappointed that no Boeings are seemingly in the mix. Perhaps a surprise for MSFS2024 launch?

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

Finally some love for the Cirrus. The one in MSFS is not like the real SR-22T. At most it was something like a SR-20 and SR-22 hybrid. Not really useful for anyone who has flown the real  22 or 22T.

Did I hear correctly that SU 13 had SOME performance improvements?

Think XBOX, a lot of those users were complaining about not having a good Airbus on that platform and had to resort to pay for rubbish LVFR for external models with no systems. Did not expect MS/Asobo to hire Ini to do a A320neo though. Ha. Their other project will certain be payware. I would not worry about FBW they have their following.

Q: When will we get more info on MSFS 2024?
A: Probably in the spring, will be tied to larger announcement (especially in regards to specific release date in 2024)

Here's my guess about the connection to a larger announcement: I predict that Microsoft will introduce a truly superior VR headset next year, just as Apple is scheduled to do with its Vision Pro. MSFS2024 will include code to best take advantage of this new Microsoft headset. The headset and MSFS2024 will be introduced in tandem -- thus explaining the "tie" to a larger announcement.

They said the + would mean it wouldn't make it to the release candidate for 2024. As for the SU, with a + I am not sure, perhaps they're trying for SU14 but it may take longer ?

In the case of the Sim Updates, the the + indicates an initial implementation with further improvements after

New A320 Neo by iniBuilds coming, wow

Eww. Their A310 was a disappointment and subpar.

Negatives first...

So there was no discussion about one of the biggest issues in the sim at the moment - the tile swapping.  Why are they avoiding this?
And DX12 is about as finished as it will be in FS2020, so never mind the optimisation and missing tiles at airports etc.
And the sky colours are coming in SU14 (might be December if we are lucky), although a few people on a forum took just a few days to implement it.  All so frustrating, as they could just release an updated .exe tomorrow if they wanted to.
Not so keen on all of the suspense and secrecy stuff, just give us the facts or don't.  I won't be holding my breath for the next 'surprise', or the tie in with Dune.  Do any flightsim fans really want that?  Hands up if you are brave enough to say yes!

Positives...

Loving the look of all the new content. From the Northern Europe update, the Saab, the MU-2, and WT's improvements especially on the Cirrus, as I am really looking forward to them showing off their work on the piston engine improvements on this model.
SU13 for me is a great success.  It may seem like just a quick brush up and bug splat, but for me it is running as smooth as silk and a distinct lack of CTDs and other crashes.  Very stable. I can't wait for everyone else to have it and give their feedback.
I wish they could have covered this more, as it is widely reported, and I would like to know what they did.  Then again, Martial would probably say 'we don't know!'

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
