That's one advantage of being in the beta, we never have these update problems. 😄

I was in the beta. There were still 2 very small updates in content manager. They won't complete. Neither are necessary to fly.

Guess those were from some days ago when the latest beta was released and you didn't download them. I had them at that time, not today.

Can confirm, exactly the same. It's Eastern Europe and DC-3. I didn't care right now and just went flying. But I agree, a company like MS should be able to cope with such traffic.

Kind regards, Michael

Only 2 small downloads : Central Easten Eurpope WU patch. And DC-3 patch. Neither is over 600 mb. Neither will complete the downloads.

Mandatory download took 9-minutes to complete.  Then did eight of the content manager updates in the next 10-minutes (DC-3, Canada, US)

I did see the Black screen a couple of times and a few very long pauses or pending... but overall an OK experience.

Was in the SU13 beta, I had a DC-3 update earlier (which installed fine), I saw no update for Central Europe.

pmb and I both posted the same message at the same time. Those 2 same packages are probably all that is forthcoming for all the Beta users.

Similar issue, same file. Seemd to finish a 412MB update then started a 212MB update, hung on that forever. I bailed out, restarted, logged off/on store and xbox service now it wants to do the 412 MB update again.

I have about 6.2 Gigs of downloads. Already downloaded about 1/3 of them.

So, for fast internet there is no problem. My internet only does about 170MB

I think the slowdown for some is network traffic and Asobo servers.

Miquel.

I had installed complete 217 gigs and decompression is still slow as a  snail pace after 2 hours.  I have just accidentally "X" out of msfs during the decompression.  Since it is my understanding the slowness is mostly overload.  However, did I make a mistake in shutting down MSFS?  Later today I plan to start from desktop again and the overload may no longer be the problem.

Hope I didn't make a big mistake.

My update went smoothly and quickly, including 10 items that needed updating in Content Manager. However I preformed the update as soon as it was available. Seems the servers are getting hammered now causing issues.
