Maybe, I bought them from the market place for my pc sim so they would appear payware for both Xbox and PC , but yes they do look very similar.

 

Hmm, I've not come across this one before, but can anyone explain to me what is meant by this... In the package reorder tool, make sure that it has a priotity value above the others (mostly 1 should be sufficiant, as normally all community addons have prio 0).

The Package Reorder Tool is a new tool found under Experimental Options in MSFS. It is used to reorder packages in the Community folder and is used instead of Content.xml¹. You can use the arrows to move the package up or down the list. The highest priority comes last in the list¹. However, it is not clear how to see the actual priority of each package in the Community folder using the new tool². You can also use the Packages Window to change the package list order based on the header type that was clicked³. Question on this add on, will it light up the runway, if the landing lights on the aircraft don't do it well when landing ( Like the C 310 for instance) ?

Not so much, Bob. They have a much brighter glow but they only light up the immediate area around them in a more realistic fashion, especially the ones around the threshold and leading into the take off area.

To go along with this post I highly recommend this taxiway signage file... it's not a community install but it's easy enough just backup the existing file

How do you install this runway light if using Addon Linker? I’ve never used this reorder tool thing?

Just enable it in Addons Linker then open the reorder tool in MSFS experimental options and click the white triangle pointing down near the addon name to make it priority 1 so it loads after the other sceneries which are priority 0. Save after doing that.

Or if you already have a content.xml file you can just add the addon line there with the priority you want (the higher the number the higher the priority). Mine is number 2 because I already had Navigraph there, it looks like this:

<Priorities>
  <Package name="navigraph-navdata-base" priority="1"/>
  <Package name="unknown-misc-runway-lights" priority="2"/>
  <Package name="navigraph-navdata" priority="3"/>
</Priorities>

I thought I noticed the beam from them was larger when passing them at Brussels last night. I'll need to look again. Whatever it was it was only noticeable as I passed them on the ground, I don't think there's a significant change when seeing them from the air.
