If you wanted to fly a 239 track, go to LEGS, type P/P239 and drop it on L1. It’d create a track line that’d be 239 degrees out to infinity, along with a discon on the legs page. It came in handy. November 18, 20232 yr Ah !, so like present position 239. I've never seen that, does that work in the modern Boeing FMC or was that from something older ? 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.
November 18, 20232 yr Let me back to HS 787-9 😀 I did a flight from Bangkok to Seol yesterday. Initial FL was 390. Then I reached S/C point (automatic FL change is not simulated) I put new FL 410 in the alt window and push the knob. Plane started to climb and VNAV PATH became VNAV SPD. After reaching 410 SPD changed back to PATH automatically and new FL was automatically updated at VNAV FMC page. TOD was recalculated accordingly. Not bad at all!

It worked on the -8 software as well. I tried it on the 75 & 76, but it didn't work. And the 73 NG doesn't have the function either. I'd imagine on the 787 it wouldn't work, because it wouldn't be necessary. You guys have TRK mode directly on the MCP, which is very nice. November 22, 20232 yr I’m still noticing when I flare that the nose does this thing where it has a very subtle bounce to it. It doesn’t feel smooth like other aircraft. Difficult to explain, but rather challenging when trying to flare the plane. Just in case it has an effect, please note their simbrief profile was updated with the new version and make sure to not use the msfs weight and payload menu (use the fmc payload manager).
November 22, 20232 yr Started a first flight a couple off minutes with the V. 1.01 and was surprised at takeoff. All simbrief planning ect, ect. The plane rotate at desired rotate speed and kept a beautiful pitch his own until i pushed the AP so the climb to my 39000 feet with LNAV/VNAV was just beautiful and now lets see how the landing gets.. ( at another 3h of flight i will report back ) So seems the takeoff phase of the plane is so mutch better than before and looks as yet as a very good update to me - just my two cents, good work from the horizon guys so far ! 👍 cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
November 22, 20232 yr OK, completed my 4h 30m flight and everything just went beautiful, fine capturing the ILS another superb landing with this bird, so in short words perfect in my opinion. The only thing still exist ( what boders me, that´s why i was on there discord with V.1.0 and they told they fix it for the next Version ) is that the catering truck sets far behind the back door for catering, so still wrong and the same as with V.1.0.. Just to report back my findings ! cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
