These messages appear at the wrong time. For example, after takeoff when retracting flaps I get the warning that the takeoff checklist is incomplete (because flaps are not now in the TO postition) and the same thing happens after landing as I'm cleaning up the aircracft. im guessing you arent going all the checklist items, my guess is your missing the trim section

Looks like it's a problem of default 78X and subsequently Kuro and HS. Yes, I am in LOC mode active when I am pressing the APP button. November 6, 20232 yr Referring to simbrief flight plan generation (using the Horizon simbrief profile), is anyone noticing that the fuel consumption is very accurate for the first 8-10 hours and after the consumption appears to be higher in the last hours for a very long haul flight? Is the simbrief calculation or the simulator the problem? I know that i can carry more fuel to be sure but I'm one who likes to push to the limit the plane, crossing the entire planet, so every kg counts 😄

Teams will have to work on the compiled JS code to add features, like we did with our original mod for the CJ4. Thank you Nick again to reply us. So compiling the JS code the freeware teams can add features included the autobrake system?

November 8, 20232 yr I flew the 789 for the first time yesterday, despite my reservations with the rotation. I was actually super impressed. But the rotation issue is quite glaring - on an otherwise amazing package. Are they actively working on this issue? Edited November 8, 20232 yr by ErichB

They have noted the comments and will look at it, after a short break I think they said (they worked tirelessly to get it out). I am just grateful for what they have done for free, and I am sure the take-off will be made better eventually. The biggest problem is conflicting information, as there are a few people who say they don't see the issue. Edited November 8, 20232 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). There are some people who are on such awfully configured, stuttery, unoptimised systems that they probably wouldn't notice anyway. The issue is obvious and has even been displayed a number of times on livestreams. I'm sure they'll fix it. Hopefully anyway. It would be a shame if they didn't as the package is really, otherwise amazing Edited November 8, 20232 yr by ErichB
November 8, 20232 yr Agree with the above. I've only spent a little bit of time with the 787-9, but I am hugely impressed. I took it for a hand-flown test flight, and loved it. Can't remember whether I had a rotate problem, though. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

My system is fine and I don't notice any issue, I've never had a tailstrike and the plane takes off fine under heavy and lighter loads. That's not to say Horizon aren't looking at refining take off and landing but there are a ton of variables that make this problem a lot worse for some people, namely not inputing the correct numbers, controller settings and the most obvious one being people thinking this plane should handle the same as other aircraft and when it doesn't "ITS BROKEN". The aircraft may need some tweaks but it's not broken. If it was, I would not have put in around 60 hours of flight time since it's release. After flying it, I was really impressed. It's great to hand fly. But the rotation behavior is odd. It is strange that not everyone has the same issue, but, like you say, it may also be user error. There may be a configuration issue with the data inputs. But as a few real pilots seem to have had the issue on stream, including a 787 pilot, probably a reduced chance of that being the case.
