We are talking about home flight simulators and airplanes and everyone is free to fly pigs and cows, but I don't like the PMS solution because it hasn't the right bezel in the cockpit and you can't find it in the real world in a DC-6.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Actually the Flying Bulls seem to have 2 GTN750s installed in their DC-6

Nice indeed. I really like the retrofits as they are presenting aircraft flying now... but to be correct these are GTN750xi and ugly PMS are out again (just kidding) 😉 Even the smaller 650 in the place of the 430 would be a win. But I would not give a single cent on PMDG actually hearing the customers wishes.

It's a modern gps implementation, but it doesn't have pressurization if I recall correctly.

Interesting and never thought about it. Perhaps even certification of such an old frame for pressurized high altitude ops could be an issue. So probably both pressurization and high blowers won't be in use anymore or even functional. Only hints about it but no real info on the web.

Not true.

The DC-6 remains my favorite plane for oceanic celestial nav flights.  Gyropilot does a fine job at holding heading and altitude.

I'm just happy my DC-6 is FINALLY lighting up the up the runway with the landing lights after this latest update, only took 3 years....

Plane is working perfect for me.

What does LNM mean?

I love the plane. I only stopped because I now like other planes even more, but I am sure I will fly it again.

I still fly it but I mainly fly classics for example I fly the Boeing 307 that everyone seemed to hate and the big flying boats too. All for my Air Hauler 2 airline based in Greenland.  In IRL I fly the E175 which is arguably one of the most automated and advanced airliners in service so it's nice to go back to the basics and fly some old birds. I don't get the draw to modern jets they are boring to fly in sim.

I agree, to me the most boring aircraft to fly in the sim is the A 320. V1-rotate-engage APP- ......1000 feet disengage AP and flare. My 7 year old great granddaughter can fly  that aircraft. 😉
