Yeah.

Hold Left Shift key while you turn the knob.

Don't know if I'm doing it wrong but holding left shift doesn't make it quicker on my 737.

@Boeing_Driver place your cursor where you would dial with your mouse wheel but instead of "mouse wheeling" it, just click and hold and then move your mouse to the left of your screen to decrease minimums and to the right to increase.

My mouse wheel thanked me for not abusing it anymore..

Left-shift plus click and hold speeds it up.

This method may be a bit faster but it still takes forever.

Just  use  Radio altitude instead of Baro altitude.  That way you will only have to set a couple of hundred feet depending on the MDA.

Yeah that's annoying, it goes much faster in the real aircraft when you hold it.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

That's what I tend to do as well, saves frustration. Much prefer the ability to set it digitally, like on the 'bus or G3000/G5000...

Flying into Denver last night and I had a Baro of 5542. I started scrolling an hour into the flight to reduce last minute stress. 😆

I always thought Radio was only used during CAT II and III landings?

And you’re right. Although in the world of flight simulation it may seem an easy solution, in real life it is something unacceptable and unfeasible. In the end we are not going to go into details and we are not going to forget that only an air operation is being simulated, looking for entertainment.

Ah yes, of course. In fact I probably should've used radio altimeter flying into Denver anyway, light snow and mist with cloud cover 600ft from the ground.

DH or MDA.

I use Multi Crew Experience, so I just tell my FO "set MDA 5542" and it happens.  It takes the same amount of time, but I can be doing other things in the meantime and can even have my FO do other things while he's setting mins; he's a good multitasker 😉.

Ooo nice ! I wonder if fs2crew can do that ?
