Nvidia Drivers

Featured Replies

Just curious as I haven't checked the recent Nvidia drivers lately.  I am on 528.24.  Are there any others that I should  be using for performance and graphics?

All of the 54x.xx drivers have been getting slammed with negative feedback in Nvidia's official feedback threads for them.  537.xx series is supposed to be the last "decent" one.  Not sure I'd touch the 54x.xx ones unless it meant I couldn't play a new title at all.

yep  if  they are  causing  issues   you can always  roll back  again, you  dont  know  until  you have  tried  the  latest  your  self   don't  rely  on  reviews all  the  time,  it  what works  on your  pc  and  not  others

I wonder if the reason why some are and some aren't having issues with the latest drivers have anything to do with what video board is being used. I'm using a 4090 and are having issues with the latest few sets of drivers.

maybe  as  i said  it  all   depends on  your  set  up  and  the  only  way  is  to install  and  find  out,  can always  revert back

Installed the 546.33 clean version, I did use DDU to uninstall the previous drivers.

No issue, very smooth.

Installed the last 546.33, they work quite well on my system. Never used DDU to uninstall and install properly the new drivers, I'm using the "clean install" included in the new driver package. But I cleaned the DX cache using the disk cleanup app.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Exactly the same experience I have with my 4090 and 7900X3D. The latest Driver causes me more stutters. The only change I made, getting those stutters reduced!, is rolling back to older versions, now on 535.98.

Since SU14 I am still experiencing stutters, but less heavy combined with older Nvidia Drivers.

I updated to 546.33 on my mediocure RTX3060TI and the perfomance was terrible, roll back to 546.29 and my performance returned,so for me the lastest version is affecting my FPS.

Same for me with same specs... Every release after 537.58 causes noticeable stuttering. Everything for me is running pretty smoothly with 537.58, though.
