January 24, 20242 yr Finally got access to the windowsapp folder, but when I try to copy the two files it says I don't have enough space. There is 511gb free on my hard drive, does anyone know how to get the files copied into the directory?

Look on YouTube for video on how to move your MSFS installation.

Latest version, works flawless in game but if i hang around in the menus too long changing livery or aircraft then i just get the DXGI error. Will re-try and limit frames and see if i get any joy thanks.

I see using the xbox app as a work around (because msfs/windows blocks you from accessing the files) but...... Meh. MSFS updated the location of the exe file in one of the sim updates a while back, if you have your install on an external drive it may not have updated the location. Trust me when I tell you there’s a reason they don’t grant you access to the WindowsApps folder. I have seen more than one person who insisted and pushed their way through the closed door into that folder and wound up regretting it.

January 25, 20242 yr I am not giving up, just dont have the time to tweak and get rid of the tearing and stutters eversince using 10 GB rolling cache. The tearing and classic photograph frame like artifacts when panning just kills the mood. Going back to DX 11. Lower the settings to mostly medium like volumetric, texture res, and sea and wave, (keep the building detalis, trees, and terrain vector high). I got 28-34 in a dense airport in the middle of a big city, and reaching 42-52 above 4500 ft.
