February 13, 20242 yr Noteable final quotes from Aamir at end (some paraphrased): "We have an objective, to build this into the best A320 simulation out there... We really wanted to give the upcoming A319 and A321 the best base possible... A year long to develop this, it's been tough, this is also an investment for the 319/321 ... as much as we are a business, we can afford to make this update free, from our perspective throughout 2023 we re-invested pretty much every penny we made in sales into this work, so not much profits out of 2023" The various areas of improvements below, including a bunch of new stuff not announced in their written intro to V2 from last year: https://fenixsim.com/blog/entries/2023-05-19_anniversary/ ... February 13, 20242 yr Fantastic work. I really do feel sorry for the support team when people struggle to start the engines.

February 13, 20242 yr Thank you Amir and team! I really appreciate your passion and eye for details! Keep up the good work! Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.
February 13, 20242 yr Wow!!! Glad they sorted external hardware support! Really appreciate that. Love the hot weather engine start behaviour. It might clog up airports in Vatsim/IVAO, though, with pilots not knowing why their engines aren't starting. Edited February 13, 20242 yr by Matt Webb Matt Webb

Incredible indeed!, and all this for free.. and a base for their 319/321 where I'm sure they'll further push the envelope. Various stuff that is simulated or are new features Aamir just mentions but doesn't show in the video (i.e. visual fidelity improvements, web MCDU, certain engine simulation particularities, etc). And it's telling of their financial success from 2022 onwards that they're able to do this kind of feature dump for free (i.e. effectively reinvest all profits from 2023 into this new development), absorb licensing costs to ProSim to add hardware support, etc Edited February 13, 20242 yr by lwt1971 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

February 13, 20242 yr Hey @Aamir, has the team expanded on brake degradation with high speed aborts etc? I know PMDG just showcased glowing hot brakes and the inibuilds A300 showcased shoe degradation. Wondering if B2 has any goodies in that area?
