One thing I've noticed is that AI traffic still causes stutters and FPS drops, and if I go above 200 TLOD, I get stutters, but FPS still remains high and fluid. I keep my settings at 200, and there are no stutters whatsoever. I'm also running GSYNC with VSYNC and low latency mode on in the NVIDIA panel, which has eliminated tearing on my 240Hz monitor. Just curious whether you use AutoFps or DynamicLOD. And also, selecting aircraft through Developer Mode (i.e when on Runway or Ramp) instead of through the main menu may significantly affect that particular session. Did you cap your FPS? March 3, 20242 yr When I started MSFS today one of the settings screens popped up before the sim actually launched. These were the settings related to accessibility. After I continued I got an 9+GB update. Do they send updates on Sundays also? Yesterday all was fine. Update: That's what I was affraid of. The whole %&*#&* thing has been reset. Any way to get my old settings back? I had a busy day and was hoping to have some fun doing a short flight. I am NOT going to enjoy myself reprogramming the thing. 2n update: That was close! After downloading the update I got the first setup "wizard". The interface language was reset to Dutch and all my controllers were reset to default🤢 Somehere during the setup it found it needed to update some more items, and I was greeted with a plain blue interface without any titles. I then quit MSFS, logged out of Xbox app and MS store and restarted my PC. After logging the two apps again I started MSFS. The first screen was in Dutch, but the "Dune" addon pictures were now in English which was hopeful. After MSFS had started I was greeted with a familiar English interface and my Controllers were restored to my previous configuration. March 5, 20242 yr Hi, Everyone, Apart from a few CTDs, the beta works pretty well for me. BTW, I would like to know if I should abandon the beta before the final SU15 Update comes out. Thank you

People, including myself, have suffered problems requiring complete reinstallation of MSFS by tinkering with the beta installation at precisely the wrong moment. As @Krakin said, you'll already have the release version before Release Day. So you needn't do a thing. And you'd be very wise not to do a thing. March 5, 20242 yr I re-entered the beta with the current build (I left due to CTDs almost every flight). Haven't had a single CTD in this build. I've also been monitoring the beta CTD thread, and reports in there have gone down massively. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Just did reinstall and it took one and a half day. That slow speed download was really overwhelming too. I submitted a ticket and explained the issue to Zendesk. What they asked me to do regarding the course of action is very standard, and I had to figure it out myself. So before reinstalling, I untick Beta in Steam and now my fresh MSFS is working very well (again). I wish we had not been "forced" to update whenever a new SU comes up and let us choose our own preference. Since MSFS fetches a lot of data, like weather, traffic and scenery online that would be impractible, perhaps even impossible. Having to cater for multiple versions of the sim requires a much more complex cloud configuration, especially if users not only defer updates entirely but even skip certain updates while installing others. It would also be impossible to support by Zendesk and third parties would have no idea which developments they can implement in their aircraft. Having everyone using the same version of the sim is the only way to keep things manageble.
