March 7, 20242 yr Not too many changes in this build, guess they're getting closer to the finish line... 25 minutes ago, jarmstro said: I think they are rowing back on the memory optimisations. I suspect so too. Just like they did in previous betas. In a way I can understand it, as they have to cater for all users. The first beta build was very bug-ridden. Still remember the first SU10 build - it was hailed as a Holy Grail, stellar performance inducing build. But a lot of people had issues with it, so they had to nerf a lot of the great changes. I'll do the following before updating (as I've done with other builds): delete .dat files in %localAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SceneryIndexes delete Content.xml and ROLLINGCACHE.CCC in %localAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache disable shader cache in NCP, reboot in safe mode, delete: %userProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion\DXCache %localAppData%\NVIDIA\GLCache %localAppData%\D3DSCache then another reboot and enable shader cache Edited March 7, 20242 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
