Loaded up a flight and razer sharp textures right to the horizon for me.

Trees and buildings loading up fine.

TLOD at around 250

24 GB of VRAM and 32 GB of RAM here

But do see pauses and freezes when panning around the cockpit via camera

Visible horizon can be at a distance of some hundred feet or 20+ miles. "Razer sharp textures right to the horizon" doesn't mean a lot, it depends on your altitude and the shape of the terrain in front of you.

Honestly if you fly IRL you can't see detail that far out anyways so if I don't see a big deal about reduced LOD.

I own MSFS on both steam and MS Store (won a boxed copy in a giveaway), I could probably install a second version not on the beta and compare easily

How is the latest beta? Stable?

Very stable in fact. The previous previous one I was ridden with CTDs on almost every flight. This one: stable as a rock! Been flying almost non-stop so I do have some hours of testing to back up my statement. However, as always - YMMV. Just because it's stable for me, doesn't mean it's stable for *everyone*.

Lot of factors like air quality, weather, windscreen paralax etc. affect that especially in places like this (Socal)

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

Time for the final and release candidate beta to come out....

Maybe it´s a bit delayed (some days). They talked about this possibility in the Developnet Update.

Best.

Miquel.

It's possible we won't get the final version before release, as they specifically mentioned the ini A320N will not make it to beta.

I second that. Though it seems that activating AMD's Fluid Motion Frames ends up with me getting CTDs (for driver causes), but that's on AMD's drivers, not MSFS.

Without activating any fancy setting in the graphic driver MSFS is rock stable on my end.

As a testimonial to how stable the current beta iteration is: In my current MSFS session, I've flown the Fenix all around Europe until I had to refuel. LFMN-LFMT-LFBZ-LEBB-LESO-EGLL-EHAM-EBBR-LFPO-EDDK-EHRD-EDDH 😆 All with FSLTL running. I left the aircraft parked at EDDH before I went to sleep with the sim open. That was nearly 10 hours ago. Just came back to my PC - and lo and behold, MSFS is still running. Just saw an airliner taking off.
