February 19, 20242 yr I still see those heinous popcorn clouds from time to time though 😕 But generally very little graininess / pixelation. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
February 19, 20242 yr No issues with clouds here but I don't do ultra. Actually the clouds look awesome on high. sp

Probably from the upscaling that your GPU or monitor are doing to get 5120 x 1440. All processing generates some artifacts and noise.
February 19, 20242 yr Its been my experience that the Nvidia control panel settings get reset to default on a driver change. If you prefer not to have to re-enter your settings you can use Nidia Inspector to export/import your profiles. I found some early pics of early MSFS on my old pc before SU5 the other day, I shed a tear at how good looking the clouds were 😥 Video dated May 2021; check out the distant lod we enjoyed then too😪
February 19, 20242 yr Watched my daughter play Fortnite the other day and noticed that the clouds look eerily similar to those in MSFS (as far as graininess goes anyway). i9-13900K | 6400MHz DDR5 (32GB) | GeForce RTX 4090 24GB MSFS 2024 | PMDG 777-300ER | FBW A380X | Fenix A320 | ini A350

Actually, exporting inspector profiles is a great idea, didn’t think of that. Edited February 19, 20242 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
February 19, 20242 yr I can see some pixelation when I'm zooming in: Anyway it's not a huge distraction for me most of the time. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
