Yeah, AutoFPS with 2020 is a must. 2024 must use some kind of variation of it. Otherwise, it would be silly to have 300 TLOD in the middle of London City in an airliner.

That just ain't happenin' folks!

I still have 2024 premium deluxe but so far I love the Just Flight RJ so much that I won't go back to 2024 until this shiny word not allowed of a bird is added eventually. GA is fine in 2024 for third-party/payway planes that are compatible. So far....2020 is still amazing.

All of us will eventually migrate over.

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I would like to get some advice on what settings are suitable for my setup. I only fly FENIX and 99% on VATSIM.
Monitor 1440p/120hz (locked to 60fps)
TLOD in MFS 130

Now I have stable 55-60fps with FENIX during the flight. But at airports 30-40 fps only. I found a mention of Auto FPS on the forums and I would like to try it.

Which Auto method should I use?
What value of TLODmin / TLODmax?

Could you please advise me on what settings to start with? Thank you for your answer.

I Wonder if Reset XBPDR has approved his work to be modified.

Apart from this, it doesn´t seem to work.

Yes I know and it's fine as I did make my code open source. I'm glad someone got it working in MSFS2024 and I have asked them how they did it, more out of curiosity than anything but to possibly make my existing apps compatible with MSFS2024 in their current form.

Good to know You are OK with their doings.

I would not like to use stuff stolen from You, out of respect for what You have done so far for MSFS2020.

Good news! I've been in contact with the developer of the new MSFS2024 AutoFPS app and he shared with me how he got it working with the new sim. As a result, today I was able to successfully update my last Auto FPS version 0.4.3.1 to be able to work with both sim versions, using auto detection of sim version and with separate config and log files for each.

It is very early days, but at least I have my foot in the 2024 door and will now look at what actually works and doesn't work of my existing functionality in the new sim, which is all I am planning to get operational at this time.

Stay tuned!

Hi, with version 0.4.3.1, I can't get it to recognize my FS2024. It showed all red on MSFS/SimConnect/Session despite I am in the main menu of FS2024. Is it because I am on steam or something?

I copied the 'mobiflight-event-module' from FS2020 community to FS2024 and still no luck, any ideas?

Yes, 0.4.3.1 is only compatible with MSFS 2020. I will soon be releasing 0.4.3.2 which will be MSFS 2024 compatible as well but will offer no new functionality. If you can't wait that long or want new features try https://github.com/kayjay1c6b/MSFS2024_AutoFPS-by-kayJay_1c6 ,which is based on my 0.4.3.1 app.
