I'd pay good $$ for a decent KFLL, TJSJ, and a KSTS scenery

Featured Replies

Hello Gang!

Any developer looking at doing KFLL, TJSJ, KDFW, or KSTS?  LatinVFR has pretty much abandoned their sceneries mtce for all practical purposes and KFLL and TJSJ are a bloody mess, even with the latest TJSJ update which now made it worse.  No one has done KSTS which is a great little airport north of SFO in Sonoma County.  KDFW not for the faint of heart - I get it, but neglected in MSFS.

Thanks

Dennis

I’ve been enjoying both FLL and TJSJ from them… haven’t had any issues on my end.

OK - Very happy for you if you like them the way they currently are.  Keep enjoying them.

Other than the slightly rough taxiways in a couple spots on the sloped runway side What is wrong with KFLL? I thought LVFR did a great job considering how hard that must have been. I worked there on the ramp as a Fueler for the G gates and F Gates and The airport looks correct to me. I cant really speak on TJSJ. Its fine to me as well but ive never been there to have a real opinion.

A vote for STS here!

I'd love STS.  I enjoyed the orbx rendition from past sims.

I'd also love an Orbx RDD and O85 just like the good ole days. I always flew my Realair legacy into O85.

The airport overall is allright.  Problem is the bumpy taxiways and all the terrain anomalies on the south side runway make it impossible to taxi realistically on that side of the airport. Been reporting these issues since this scenery was initially released to no avail.

I don't mind the LVFR KFLL but I'm right there with you on TJSJ.  The last time I flew in there I had to confirm that I had it installed, I wasn't sure I was looking at payware textures.

Sonoma would be great too, a super short flights into SFO makes for a high workload CRJ flight!

Please God i want a new tjsj! san juan puerto rico  its not up to the current standards of todays tech with interior terminals and a whole bunch of stuff its missing so much detail and the airport itself is not that big too.I hoping a good scenery designer picks it up..

Imaginesim is working on DFW; they've got a few previews over on their Facebook page. I'm a little concerned, given the quality of their ATL release and their refusal to acknowledge any of the comments.

Even years ago in the p3d days, Imaginesim had shown they had been leap frogged by most payware developers.  I no longer consider them a viable scenery maker and would not consider purchasing any airport they make.  Worse than the quality has been by the way they engage with the community.  They have no problem putting a facebook post up.  However they then ignore the hundreds of comments about huge missing items.  Sometimes they are even given pictures and volunteers with access to the airport.   They just don't seem to care.

I can only speak for their TJSJ, but there's basically roller coaster taxiways by the active runway, bushes in the middle of taxiways all over, etc.  I'm seriously worried about damaging the plane getting to the active.  I'm not one of those sticklers for detail.  I'm happy with most sceneries I buy.  I don't go over every texture, but things like taxiways that require full throttle to "climb" is something that should not get launched, or un-patched for this long.

It is the only commercial scenery I've actually thought of uninstalling and going back to default.
