May 20, 20242 yr When flying over the Aokigahara even the lingering ghosts down there are impressed by so much raw engine displacement power combined with a turbo charger spinning with 90.000 rpm. Unfortunately there is no tutorial video how to fly a zero visibility CAT III autoland with that awesome new KLN 90B GPS. Can someone do this please? 😺

May 20, 20242 yr I think you need to read it because it explains everything about ground handling and crosswind - from the creator himself... https://community.justflight.com/topic/6532/crosswind-performance-is-way-way-off-guys/2 we have to wait till Thursday .... Than will be number 1 ... 🙂 😉

May 21, 20242 yr I think the BlackSquare is number 2 and the A2A is number 1 as far as what is best. But to me there is a different altogether different question that trumps how good the plane is. And that is: How much do I love this plane? I always choose to go through life separating what is best from what I love. I always try to buy whatever I love, instead of what I think is best. If I love a plane, then I will buy a mediocre version of that plane when available, instead of an excellent version of another plane that I don't love. I love the JustFlight Arrow for reasons I won't go into. So that's the one I fly the most. But it's not close to being the best MSFS GA plane. I don't care about that. Same thing for movies: I watch a lot of mediocre old movies because I love them (Heaven's Gate). I don't watch a lot of the best old movies ever made (Citizen Kane) because I just don't like it. I recognize it's excellence. But I don't care about that. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. If I "Love" some product then I will get the most expensive version that makes financial sense. For instance AMD 7950x3d I may "Love" but for my machine 7800x3d makes more sense in terms of Bang for Buck, so I would go for that. Not a Mediocre one such as 7600. You want the Bang for Bucks. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer

I think what @Gregg_Seipp means is that when the ice deflector / inertial separator is "on", the bypass vane in the inertial separator is open; see this video. IOW, when the inertial separator is on, it is "open" in the sense that the bypass is open. As an aside, the term "ice deflector" that is used in the turbine Duke is really a misnomer, as the purpose of the inertial separator is to deflect air into the engine while letting ice and other FOD pass straight through and out through the bypass. It can be frustrating to read that your favourite aircraft/airport is being done by a mediocre developer because it reduces the chance that another developer will spend time on it. Especially because these mediocre developers try to be the first, knowing full well that's their only chance. That might also be the reason why some developers don't like to advertise new projects long before; it allows mediocre developers to beat them to it even when they start only when they hear about it. May 21, 20242 yr During the previous days the Duke got what the Duke deserved: The cat paw magic treatment full royal overhaul. The constantly to the left or right twitching numbers while values count up or down on the Shadin Engine Trend Monitor display are now fixed and a whole new digits and font design is used. The new gorgeous cockpit main computer with DOT-matrix letters and numbers. All baked-in fake shadows that sometimes made big dark X-shaped silhouettes below some of the instrument turn knobs are now removed. The same for the Piston Duke, plus also a new engine gauge panel texture for his highness the Piston Duke: Plus a few texture and label fixes for the KLN90B GPS, and a new carpet for both Dukes. Such a special and sophisticated and ultra detailed plane we only get once in five years or so, that´s why a cat´s choice plane, the Duke, deserves every attention and praise possible. 😺 13 hours ago, Fielder said: But to me there is a different altogether different question that trumps how good the plane is.
