I realise Laminar has to fix things that effect the majority of users but I too would like to see the networking ground traffic and weather sync issues resolved.

This was first mentioned for 12.08 but still no mention of it in 12.09 or to date in 12.10. I seem to remember around 12.08 time that Austin mentioned in a video they had a networking expert working on it?

Anyway I do appreciate the great work the relatively small team do.

They mentioned a few bug fixes were coming for networking but the full external sync remedies were solidly in the "In Progress" section. Not .08 or .09 or .1.0. They do have a dedicated network dev now.

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...

Only recently come back into X-Plane as I wanted to fly the wonderful HotStart Challenger again. Does anyone know what plans LR have for Anti-Aliasing in XP12? As it seems to much worse off compared to XP11. I know they have recently added some improvements with these new betas but just wondering if there is going to be more changes.

Especially if you don't want blurry cockpit displays the Anti-Aliasing is no where near as good.

For the most part it has mostly been addressed after the release of XP12.1. They also added a sharpening feature as well, that helps improve reading instruments that appear blurry.

Which doesn't seem to do much of anything.

Yeah I've done the setting / tweak to make the displays less blurry and it does seem to work to an extent. My issue is that the Anti-Aliasing still looks a bit odd where you can still see like jaggies etc regardless of what AA settings you use.

Compared it to XP11 then the Anti-Aliasing is much smoother on there. I believe its related to FXAA but then that causes the blurry cockpit displays so currently I don't think you can have a win win situation for both unless I'm wrong.

From what I see with my Antialiasing at 4x MSAA, it is lot less jagged edges than I have seen the past, must more smoother in appearance although I am using a 1440 monitor as well as VR, it still looks descent, alot better than 12.09.

It use for sharpening small text like the checklist on the Zibo mod yoke toward the bottom. I adjusted it and then select done and can see a slight improvement in the lettering. Very subtle change not overwhelmed sharp which can be seen with sharpening controls of the monitor.
