OK.  Mark my word.  Hope I am wrong, but I am not.  Same with 2020 marketing.

Aside from some of the water masking not making the final cut at launch, what did the 2020 trailers misrepresent?

Don’t think there are many areas of commerce that aren’t?

Y'all do realize that what you see in marketing trailers and what you get in game are going to be miles apart.  Just look how smooth it looks in the trailer.  MSFS have never looked that smooth.  Ya'll keep dreaming though.

I love the "experts" that don't really know squat about the new product.

It does if you use frame gen in RTX 40xx series GPUs.  Plus from what we know from prior Asobo dev streams, 2024 will be vastly more efficient on the user's system.  I would expect to gain performance on my current PC in 2024.

I’m also assuming this was running on an Xbox, given the event.

Edit: Are there many / any games running FSR3 on Xbox?

Idiom: Mark my words

Meaning:

Mark my words is an expression used to lend an air of seriousness to what the speaker is about to say when talking about the future. You often hear drunks say it before they deliver some particularly spurious nonsense.

Frame generation says hi.

The trailers are also not running any mods, it's just the default sim.

Wrong. Obviously depends on your hardware, but the stuff in my signature produces 80-90 frames at Inibuilds EGLL with PSXT using AIG models. Smooth as butter.
