I use a large 55-inch 4K screen with an RTX 4090 and I thought I would never be able to increase the smoothness to this extent while doubling the fps. However... I am so grateful to our friend [name redacted] that I would kiss him passionately if he were a beautiful woman... 😊 For less than $10, I just got the best deal of my entire flight sim life. 1/ Works in HDR on a 165Hz screen. 2/ No need to have the Steam version, it works perfectly with the Store. 3/ No notable artifacts. 4/ Works in "full" screen. 5/ And yes, it doubled my fps!! Try this program, if it does not suit you you can request a refund. Do you see any artifact at all with this new method? I could Imagine that it needs to be Off inside MSFS for the mod to work.
