MS Servers are down

Featured Replies

The sim not launching for a few days before SU updates released (being stuck on loading screen forever in 2022) was the only problem since 2020 for 1792 hours.

Maybe it is so stable because of all these multiplayer and live-service online-nonsense constantly switched off, permanent, since 2020.

🙂

  • This is about the only reason I would pick up Xplane--to lose this critical dependency.   OTOH our entire gig is a digital house of cards anyway w/ Russian (and I'm sure American/Chinese too) satellit

  • Also tried various things to fix this before Googling and realizing it's a global issue... started a flight anyway but, wow, does MSFS look ugly without an internet connection...

  • Exactly. Even the Map Enhancer does not work.    And there is also something not quite right with AVSIM's servers. It takes forever when I hit the reply button for the message to show up

I occasionally have that issue restarting the sim always fixes it for me.

That has happened a couple of times to me recently. I had to sign out and reboot MSFS both times, and it loaded fine after that.

EDIT: What on Earth is the matter with AVSIM recently? It takes ages to load the main page, and then ages to post a message every time.

💯 true!

My simple mind tells me that since humans walk on two legs, each generation thinks similarly. What is new nowadays is that you have billionaires, social media, AI, and other tools of mass destruction. Thank God, at least I have MSFS 😂.
