They won't be showing anything at FS Expo but will give a development update on the A350 in July... recent posts by ini re: the A350/A380/etc on discord:

Q: Will IniBuilds present something of the A350 at the FS Expo?
A: We do not have an official presence at expo this year. More info will come in the update next month

Q: Will the July update include information about the A380?
A: The focus will be the A350. Some work on the A350 is by relation also work on the A380
, stuff like BTV, OANS etc. Not to say that they will feature in the update
, but just to say that almost any update on the A350 is by proxy an update on the A380

Re: timeline they are still on track per their initial announcement, A350 is first priority on track for release before end of this year, A380 afterwards.

Thanks for the update. I wonder if they're aiming to release it for both 2020 and 2024 because that would be awesome.

I don't understand how someone that has yet to release one (!) single aircraft thinks he should announce the aircraft that comes after the aircraft that comes after the aircraft that has been in devel

Bluebird announcing a 787 screams "dev trying to 'claim' an aircraft in hopes it will dissuade someone else from doing it". Please finish your 1st aircraft before announcing a 3rd.

Has anyone heard anything from Justflight re: the F70/100 and RJ? Are they in Vegas to present at the expo?

I believe the msfs presentation starts in 50 minutes

expo stream started 7 minutes ago, Jorg is now speaking

Jorg just said the plan book for msfs2020 (not 24) is now filled in up until 2028 and the plans include:

city updates  18

world updates 38

local legends 49

famous fliers 22

sim updates 24

Fielder, wasn't it you who said not long ago you would wait and see before you upgrade to MSFS 2024. still ?

I was most impressed with their new ray traced smooth cockpit shadows and the new cirrus clouds, finally.

Joerg said " the new Diamond PC12 NGX by Carenado" I think he meant Pilatus instead.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Day 1 for me now. Fabio is the guy doing the new replay. Air races in base sim (Roswell, New Mexico), lots of free stuff inibuilds and Carenado, some of the payware planes are free and improved in 2024, alligators, mustang horses, deer, cirrus clouds, new lighting systems. Seb is lead man on lots of this stuff (as we know he will retiring in the near future). An extensive flight planning tool on the map start page, very detailed. I forgot half of the other stuff just shown.

Seb says the problem with clouds in 2020 is that the lighting system isn't deep enough. He showed how the new lighting system in 2024 makes the clouds look more real.

The new flyby view is for the replay system only.

Gaya the new partner is doing the new KJFK, KASE (aspen), and Donnegal (Ireland), ground markings in every airport.

All the oil rigs in the world in the game, all heliports too, and all commercial ship traffic in the world (this is by a partner that sells the data to Asobo).

Have they said anything about performance when compared to MSFS 2020? All of that procedural stuff and ray tracing is presumably going to require significantly more power, and whilst my i5 7600k/GTX 980Ti system is doing a fantastic job with 2020, I am not certain how well it will cope with 2024.

MSFS 2024 is being released for XBox X and XBox S. Since XBox S is the weaker XBox, that's the one you want to compare your computer to. If you computer's specs are comparable or better than XBox S, MSFS 2024 will probably run on your system. This is an educated guess by me though - we don't know the actual minimum PC specs until MSFS 2024 is released.

Having said that, stuff like ray tracing may not be usable by weaker computers without torpedoing the frame rate. Ray tracing will probably be an option in settings. So you can tune the settings to get the best  performance for your computer.

The ray tracing is also only for shadows, which is significantly less performance heavy than than full on raytracing light and reflections

I hope that the new version of EIDL Donegal has terminal interior modelling. This should (IMO) be standard for MSFS 2024.
