Beyond me why developers keeping releasing different versions of 787's, A330's and A320's. Enough already. Give us the A350.

Agree, same aircraft over and over, do something different, maybe classic, study level 721/722, 732, M-404, YS-11, FH-227, etc. but hey look yet another A320.

I don't understand how someone that has yet to release one (!) single aircraft thinks he should announce the aircraft that comes after the aircraft that comes after the aircraft that has been in devel

Bluebird announcing a 787 screams "dev trying to 'claim' an aircraft in hopes it will dissuade someone else from doing it". Please finish your 1st aircraft before announcing a 3rd.

Good luck in getting the necessary data to do a proper A350 correctly in a high fidelity or study level way some call it. You will not get much help from Airbus. Many of the top developers already claimed this as there is not enough data out there for a proper simulation. Inibuilds will try but we will see how that goes.

I believe Digital Flight Dynamics claimed they were able to obtain data but again that project seems like it's a pipe dream or it'll be released half cooked.

If we can get an A350 similar to the Flight Factor plane in X-Plane I would be happy.

Sorry for being that guy, but apart from the cockpit and common type rating the 757 and 767 are way more different in terms of systems under the hood than is commonly thought. I guess for Bluebird it depends on how deep they go into the systems.

If there's a common type rating, then isn't that more than ample commonality for us vPilots?

And by "systems" I'm talking about the code used to make the addon run.

This B17 looks pretty neat, not sure if announced at FSExpo as it appears mod teams are generally using this weekend to announce stuff to coincide with the event.

What is interesting is the legendary Microprose are behind it

T6A Looks solid. I'll probably buy it after the update. A good choice for VR

All this duplication, but we still don't have a B737-200.    I heard Blackbird simulations were working on one but have not heard any news for a while.
As the SR-71 still hasn't been released, and they mention other products in development other than a 737, I suppose any B737-200 is a few years away.

Also, I won't be waiting expectantly for another B787.  What WT, and the other modders (Horizon, Kuro etc.) have done with the -8,-9, and -10 variants seems fine.
They might not be 100% fidelity (according to some), but it is near enough for me.  I don't find the 787 to be a particularly exciting aircraft anyway.
With all of these modern airliners, I love the look of them, but we just seem to be flying a computer and putting numbers into an autopilot.  Not very exciting.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I’d love a study level 727. I still love old iron, particularly if it’s as old as me 😜. However, I’m kind of hesitant to buy from FSS as their RJ has been in public beta for 1 1/2 years.

FS Reborn is making one according to a post on Discord by Raul, and when we see the quality of the FSR500 we can expect an awesome rendition !

That looks very neat but I did notice the caption "Full External Flight Model", is this devs losing faith in the MSFS flight model so having to do their own? Would've thought with advances from Asobo going forwards with MSFS2024 plus the inclusion of Andrey Petrovich that external flight models would become a thing of the past 🤔

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

The irony of sitting at home in front of one or more large screens then paying extra to fly an airplane that lets you sit in front of.... One or more large screens...ON your one or more large screens. 😏

Sure it's enough for us. Bluebird really want to go deep though, so depending on how deep that is, they may have to code more than just copy and paste the systems from one aircraft into the other.

As for the code, there's probably going to be much more commonality so hopefully that speeds things up. I believe they already said that they're building a framework with the 757 that will aid and speed up future aircraft development.

Here we see the a good example of what we have talked about just the other day in the Citation Thread.

Simmers have this strange tendency of wanting things "Interesting". Flying aircraft that you don't fly single pilot in real life is not enough for many of them, they need switches to flick and courses to dial in.

Whereas in real life, pilots want their life to be as easy as possible so that they can concentrate on hand flying the thing on approach looking out of the window without having to think about power management and oil temperatures and hoping that the vacuum pumps for the intrumenst won't fail.

So give me glass cockpits with automation for single pilot operation any day over trying to simulate 60 year old aircraft that were much less reliable and much less safe to fly and that needed 3 or even more people operating them.
