Stutters Today? Servers?

Featured Replies

Anyone else experiencing lots of really bad stutters lately today? My sim runs smooth I would say 95% of the time. Tried out the Huey in San Diego area around 430 MST today and boy was it bad with stutters and pauses. Curious if any one else is experiencing this.

I think people are so used to stutters/freezes at this point that this issue has blended into the fabric and that's a pity because it is definitely something that has been ongoing for months now and g

Very unstable server connection for the last few hours. Stuck on checking for updates, cannot load into a flight even after restarting the sim several times.

Flew this afternoon for a couple hours. No issues. Smooth as butter for me.

The checking for updates took a lot longer this afternoon for some reason.

Looks like their servers are a bit stuffed right now, just told me my version of Access was unlicensed.....

Oh well another sim for me .. ..

I've been having stutters for a couple of weeks now.

Not throughout a whole flight but most of it. Very annoying.

Eventually I gave up and went to bed. Now it’s 6 hrs later and I hope that the flight has finished loading 😆

Nope... still loading! Very strange, as the sim is still responsive - it's not frozen or anything. Strange thing is that I was able to load into the same airport several times yesterday, and then suddenly it stopped working. And I swear, I didn't change anything in between🤷‍♂️

Update: Empty community folder, new restart after killing the sim with task manager:

Tried several different locations, empty community folder, different VPN servers: no go. Then turned off online functionality, and was finally able to load into a flight.

as with lots of things in life, they could fix the issue but it costs money.   They dont want to spend the money.

When it happens to me, I go to the task bar, switch off the internet connection(for me Wifi). After few seconds, MSFS ask me if I want to continue, I click "continue" and once it loads I re-connect my computer to the net and voila I can fly!

I'm getting constant connected/unconnected and disabling my Bing data today. Driving me mad. Scenery looks awful and the World map doesn't load any imagery either. Anyone else getting this?

I haven't been able to load into a flight since yesterday... Or: I can do it, if I disable all online services...
