June 27, 20241 yr I think everyone should sign their posts "Good day to you" for the next 24 hours. 🤭 I'd agree that the best solution would be to disable one of the add-ons which might be causing the audio mystery before flying the same number of flights you'd typically have before the voice announcement occurs, and continue the experiment with one add-on disabled each time until it actually happens. There shouldn't be too many of those kinds of add-ons installed, so hopefully it won't take long to discover the culprit. Also, the volume is not like it's some distance away, it's full on, 'in your face!' I did take a look at FSRealistic and changed the cockpit ambience. It may be that. I did it yesterday on a short test flight. I will check it out later today on a proper flight. It still happened today after not using FSrealistic. I really don't think it has any connection with GSX. It sounds like it may come from FS2crew, even though I have not been using it. It really is very odd.
