So knuckle heads flying 777’s into Reagan National this weekend on Vatsim. 🙄 dont worry the new brand of ms2020 meowing kids on vatsim were flying 777s in bristol, and southend all last week. Not to mention Heathrow was unuseable with the controllers getting infruited with incompentant kids and non english speakers that decended into LHR on a hype filed realease day weekend.
July 3, 20241 yr Some views of the new Photogrammetry in Allentown PA (KABE) I'd say its nice - not sure if its an improvement over the 2020-based PG. abecity1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr abecity2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr abecity3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
July 3, 20241 yr They did a nice job with it IMO. I just wish they would've did some work on the airport (KABE) as well. They didn't even add any lighting there.
July 3, 20241 yr Not knowing that part of the world or USA particularly well, could someone with more local knowledge suggest a few airports to start exploring city update 9 from? I am aware of the main airports for Washington DC so have that bit covered (though I need to see whether any of my addons conflict there as I have Washington Landmarks by Drzewiecki Design and a water fix addon). July 3, 20241 yr I've been impressed with Buffalo so far (as much as I could play with the outage). You'd think they could have just added a few main buildings downtown and called it a day (we don't have that many), but there's lots of details. Things like signs on buildings you wouldn't even notice unless you lived there. I still haven't even explored all over yet. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

Ironic to somehow belittle non English speakers while failing to capitalize Bristol, misspelling unusable, not even sure what infruited is, did you mean infiltrated? Those darn incompetent kids and non English speakers daring to use the sim and Heathrow.... What are meowing kids? Your whole post reminds me of this: Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
July 3, 20241 yr thats right paul im dyslexic but i can speak and understand english. On a daily basis on vatsim UK , the controllers (most of which are fantasic) now just sign off because the new arrivals to the hobby cant understand simple instructions such as "turn left heading 360" Vatsim has never been as bad, its been ruined. I feel for the controllers. Edited July 3, 20241 yr by fluffyflops

I feel for the controllers. That is unfortunate. I have never been a Vatsim user myself but sorry to hear they don't have a better way of screening newcomers which impacts everyone... To be fair though, you should listen to JFK ATC in real life, it is no different LOL! Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

I feel for the controllers. Don't worry, it will be fine in a few weeks. Vatsim always gets this when there's a big new release. Besides, some proportion of the "meowing kids" will grow up a bit and will be the next generation of pilots, both virtual and real. I notice every other addon maker has the same strange variety of plasticky bright lime green, yellow and red cars and trucks that look like childrens' toys in every airport parking lot - maybe an SDK default?
July 4, 20241 yr FWIW, I flew around Allentown and didn't see any of those weird trees/plants. Granted I might not have hit the exact same spot. There's also a KABE freeware on dot to. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
