Gorgeous. If it works as good as their previous models, i'm sold.

Before you all call me nuts, i never ever had any issues with the A310 or with the A306. Or lack of performance with their addons - Happy to receive some more.

FINALLY. I can't wait to fly this bird, the A350 is an incredible aircraft.

If the depth of simulation (flight model and systems wise) is at least as good as the A300, then they'll have a winner IMO. Even if it means waiting until a certain patch level to iron out unsavory initial bugs 🙂 But they are likely aiming for even higher fidelity than their A300, and the A350 is developed from the ground up with out any pre-existing legacy codebase influencing it, so something to definitely look forward to.

Supposedly in real life the A350 feels like a A320. In other words, it's an incredible plane to fly so hopefully the sim version is the same.

FWIW, iniBuilds chimed in on concerns re: performance/etc in the FSElite article comments section:

https://fselite.net/content/inibuilds-shares-upcoming-airbus-a350-teasers/

Hello folks. Thank you for the coverage and those of you who are excited as we are. We note people’s comments regarding performance - its always a balancing act for high quality add-ons and great performance. We have taken a long journey with scenery with the full library having been updated further increasing performance for all users. We have a couple in the library left to do but all the 2024 sceneries (those launched this year have been great!). RE aircraft - we are working on a comprehensive A300-600R update launching for the iniBuilds Summer Surprises event with large updates and performance improvements. We are committed to providing high quality addons and ensuring performance is always the best it can be - words are always good but we will hopefully showcase this with actions, and have more to share on the steps we take for performance and testing in the iniBuilds Developer Livestream. We are very much open to feedback, so thank you for those providing it and thank you as always to the community for your support. A350 is going to be great - a true modern airliner that will be visually stunning, feature rich, and perform great too! 😉

... and please don’t think we have forgotten - we started as flight simmers too - that is how iniBuilds started.. we flightsim in our free time.. Take each major add-on.. they all have positives and negatives.. might perform great but look bad… might perform great, look ok, but handles weird.. all these things take time to get the perfect balance and mix, and at the end you get a great product. Flightsim is not a product you buy and that’s it - its an ongoing journey / service.. A product will never be perfect from Day 1 - I think the best thing is when there is a commitment to noting feedback and acting on it… (not just empty words)

Well, they're not wrong. FS add-ons do go through a journey.

That said, they would have fewer critical comments about their work if they took more time optimising their initial releases and didn't rush the releases of hotfixes. 10 in quick succession makes people think of the old adage 'more speed, less haste.'

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

Maybe that will slow down a bit in the future as they are now on more solid ground when it comes to their funding from all the revenue they made and therefore don't need to release fast to create income sooner.

No one expects PMDG level of commitment to bug free releases from them, but maybe 3 months more to polish before release would have done their A300 good.

For what it's worth, I think it is awesome now. I just don't fly it that often because Cargo Operations take place at such inoportune times for me.

is this A350 the same as the A350 XWB? And do they share the same modern flightdeck as the A380 does? If so, this is the dream plane I've been waiting for next to my beloved PMDG 777!

They still need to correct the misalignment of the runway centreline markings at EGHI Southampton and LGHI Chios Omiros......

the team making the aircraft are a separate team from the scenery devs.

Can't wait to get my hands on those ample nacelles! 😗

This all doesn't matter if it's unable to use *any* sim rate (like the A300). The A350 has no short or medium routes, it's made for routes even as long as 16 (!) hours.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
