October 4, 20241 yr I have subscribed to the lido charts I love them and with the 33% offer if in the future they come with navigation data I think it is a great price. Edited October 4, 20241 yr by Aglos77
October 5, 20241 yr I purchased a 1 year subscription, and I liked it, although I am no longer using any sims that can really make it useful like XP or MSFS or P3D... (I'm on DCS and IL2, and looking fwd for the Condorsoaring relase, which are all of the 3 SIM FOR MEN !!!! Chicken use XP, MSFS and P3D 😜)... But! I did miss as long as I recall when starting to use Aviaplaner, quite a few airports that were available in Navigraph, such as smaller airfields... but not only because the main portuguese private jet hub - LPCS - has no charts ? Well... not a problem right now because they wouldn't have the Normandy WW2 airfields anyway, or the airbases for my helos to operate in DCS, or the gliders airfields to try to land at in Condorsoaring... And don't forget! MEN USE DCS, IL2, CONDOR.... !!! Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
October 16, 20241 yr In July, I also purchased a 1 year subscription. Three months after, I feel a bit disappointed - Despite being announced within 1-2 months, NavData are still unavailable, - Numerous airports are not included, even those with precision approach procedures, - Airport search is very impratical (only full ICAO code with no partial search nor any alphabetical order), - The developement team does not post news on their website, - Support emails are not answered, - And there's no place to ask questions, get information, discuss with users and make suggestions. If things stay the same, especially after AeroSoft LIDO charts and NavData are discontinued, I will certainly not renew. Edited October 16, 20241 yr by hervesors

That sucks to hear but this is exactly why I have been postponing my decision on getting this. They really need to at least get that NavData in place ASAP. i9 14900K / Corsair Nautilus RS ARGB liquid CPU Cooler / MSI Z790 Tomahawk WiFi / 64GB Trident DDR5 RAM @ 7200 mhz / 24GB Gainward 3090 Geforce RTX / 2 TB SSD WD Black SN850X NVMe / 1 TB SSD Samsung 990 Pro series / 2 TB SSD Samsung 980 Pro Series / 500 gb and 250 gb SSD Samsung Evo 850 / RM1000W Corsair PSU - P3Dv5.4, X-Plane 12, X-Plane 11 and FSX
October 17, 20241 yr Several non-starters here for me. Only CAT C and D? Sorry, but we GA folks fly IFR too. And missing smaller airports? One of the great things about the GPS navigation era is all of the instrument approaches that have come to small fields that never would have warranted the effort in the ground based days. If whatever chart subscription I'm using doesn't offer FULL coverage - meaning if an airport has a published instrument approach, arrival or departure, my chart subscription covers it - then it's a no-go. This product is clearly not intended for the GA crowd.
October 18, 20241 yr Quote This product is clearly not intended for the GA crowd. Agree..nor was the discontinued Aerosoft NavDataPro, considering LIDO chart/data provider (Lufthansa) does not and probably will not cover these smaller airports.
October 19, 20241 yr Received today from the support team Quote Thank you for contacting the AviaPlanner support team! We are currently looking for another aviation data and chart supplier and have temporarily put new feature development and releases on hold as well as NavData updates. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please let us know if you have any questions or if you would like to cancel your subscription and receive a refund. So, don't expect any missing features to be available soon..and maybe LIDO won't be the chart provider

That is a shame... I was looking for a LIDO chart provider since Aerosoft didnt pursue to renew with LH. Edited November 5, 20241 yr by panzer2181

Did you hear about MSFS2024 using LIDO? I just heard it today, I don't know too many details but apparently it's charts etc. too.
