July 17, 20241 yr It is probably time for me to upgrade my old Oculus headset. Prime day might have a good enough deal to make the move. Regards, RayM When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
July 17, 20241 yr Reading great things about Pimax Crystal Lite. And it doesn't require WMR nor Steam VR, which formed is icing on the cake. Mario Di Lauro
July 17, 20241 yr I've just ordered the Pico Neo3 Link from Amazon for £170, could never afford one of the big boys but this HMD will do nicely, mainly to replace my Reverb G2 due to the Microsoft WMR deprecation nonsense in a couple of months that I can't be bothered to deal with! A slight downgrade but by a lot of accounts not by much as it's supposedly a decent headset, hopefully arrives tomorrow. July 17, 20241 yr If you want sharp readable cockpit instruments and a fairly sharp foreground and horizon then the Chrystal Light is a good choice. Everything else below that price point is going to be compromise. AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, RTX 4080S, Ram - 32GB, 32" 4K Monitor, WIN 11. Eric Escobar

Yeah that's what I've heard too and why I chose it over the Pico 4 (well that and cheapness!), a good mate has one and he's impressed so it might not be much of a downgrade at all. Arrives today, I'll be sure to to a quick side by side comparison at some point. I'm still enjoying my Rift S but I plan on buying a Pico Neo3 Link as well just because they are cheap and why not. July 18, 20241 yr Heard great things about the Crystal. I'm still rocking my Aero though and massively satisfied...though if I were to upgrade the Crystal seems to be a good choice.
July 19, 20241 yr Crystal Light user and big fan here. But the Quest 3 is reasonable, but you need a strap and spare battery pack for it (not needed for the Crystal). Still the Quest 3 will save you some hundreds of dollars. And there's a ton of games available (to buy) for the Quest. And it has a really good "pass through", the Crystal pass through is black and white and very low resolution. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
