Another Update

Featured Replies

Just had another update for MSFS today.  I guess it was an AIRAC or some generic airport alterations, but whatever it is, it would be nice if MS told us what the update was before we had to install it.

Edit:  My guess was correct.  World hub and AIRAC - Just checked on the official site.

As always, during these days every month: new AIRAC plus some default airports (supposedly improved...).

After the first update above I had another update for Essentials on the main menu.  Never seen that one before.  I updated and now my FSS E175 is not working!

They have strange priorities. They keep updating navdata for various random airports, but they never update the incorrect navdata they supplied for their own handcrafted EDKK and MDPP.  Disappointing.

On 2nd reboot the FSS E175 was working.  Hard to say if it was the update or something else.  Just never had the FSS E175 do that before but I am glad it worked!

Just had a CTD ("your graphics device has encountered an error...") after the update. When reaching the menu, I noticed that the sim was in window mode. A few seconds later, the CTD happened. In usercfg.opt, full screen borderless had been turned off. This has happened several times after updates...

First flight after the update, and the refresh rate in the Fenix A320 cockpit is like 5FPS. Changing from medium to high doesn't make a difference. Not sure if it's related, although it was fine before the update.

EDIT: After a while, the issue went away. Cockpit refresh rate is normal now.

I had this same thing happen last week, before this update.. Never had happened before.

The word not allowed latest update set all my settings to default, assitance options all to easy, toolbar, everything on,  and it set all my graphics setting to Ultra, everyone of them.

This should not happen. Not with a simple navdate update. Not with any update in fact. Word not allowed.

Updated smoothly and flawlessly here.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

No issues here, did a full flight after updating.
