I do it with my StreamDeck for ailerons. But I don't know where to submit questions for the next one. They're not taking submitted questions for this one, they're just going to answer questions they've seen asked a lot since the first trailer dropped. Though if it is like a regular Q&A stream outside of that, they may pull random questions they see in the chat they think can be answered or are just asked by many people. September 11, 20241 yr One question I was going to ask in the last DEV stream was about the Reverb G2. The new version of Win 11 will not work with Windows Mixed Reality. Does this mean that the G2 will not work in the new Windows 11 version 24H2? In an earlier dev stream, Jorg said the loss of WMR will not be a problem in MSFS. But what does that mean? Not be a problem because other types of VR headsets will still work in MSFS. Possibly, that's what he meant. Or maybe not be a problem in MSFS 2024, but will be a problem in 2020. Nobody knows fully what Jorg meant. He never was asked a direct question in a dev stream about the Reverb G2. I was going to ask but I forget when that dev stream was going to happen, and it was too late for me to ask. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. HP Reverb G2 users (like myself) may have to switch to a non-WMR headset or make sure not to update to the next Windows 11 version. that's why I already took some image backups of my Windows drive C. Joerg never really answered the question re. WMR, except, as you mentioned, that "it doesn't effect us". whatever that may mean, he didn't seem to be too happy when he mentioned WMR won't be included in future Windows versions. I can only assume they will support other VR interfaces in MSFS 2024. I only have a few marketplace addons as for some, this was the only available means to get the aircraft (vision jet, for example). Non-marketplace they have very little control over. We will just to wait and see what our 3rd party devs say for 2024. So far, I've heard very little from some of my favorites. Or, at least they dont make it a point to point it out yet. This is the BIG question. I have Zero Marketplace addons and Zero desire to ever use the marketplace with its Xbox induced restrictions, delay lag in pushing updates and other nonsensical bloat.

September 12, 20241 yr Agree. It's also simplicity in reinstalling the sim if need be. I have most of my sceneries in the marketplace, albeit most of the planes are downloaded from other stores. Just the ease of not tracking down hundreds of installers / storefront apps / etc is so much better from a usability point of view. Ideally I'd love to have everything from the marketplace.

To be fair to Jorg the WMR debacle has nothing to do with him, my only fear as a Microsoft product is he gets pressure from the suits above him to not include proper support for other VR headset manufacturers. So we end up with an even worse support structure for VR, now I don't think that will happen but Microsoft are well ya know...Microsoft, they can be a petty bunch! Except in the case where developers have long since released the update to non marketplace websites/apps (like their own), the issue of delay is how long it takes for that update to eventually hit the marketplace and that's what people (including myself) are majorly turned off by. It can be months at times, meanwhile shoddy night lighting, terrible aircraft and dodgy other products get uploaded much quicker with higher priority. They lost control of the Marketplace, gathered it back up with the backlog status updates but that stopped and they lost control again. It's a bit of a mess overall and needs a better structure going forward, it'll be interesting to see if that happens and if they mention it during the presentation. September 14, 20241 yr I think Microsoft will help their marketplace sellers. Because MS can inspect those packages and work on them. Off market sellers will be given some sort of an help chart to aid them in making all the changes themselves. MS will not touch those products or alter them I don't think. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. "As always, we will be SELECTING questions from live viewers during the event". Although to be fair to Jayne, she has been asking some questions recently that MB found difficult to answer, and even asked multiple times on the DX12 tiling issues when it was clear the panel did not understand what was happening in their own sim. Good on her! MB's initial response of "well, it's big world" on this issue was an utter disgrace as usual considering the amount of feedback given that something was wrong.
