November 1, 20241 yr This really would have been lovely but with MSFS 2024 incorporating a planner, will be interesting to see which one works better! Still, it really is a great quality of life improvement and kudos to Navigraph for doing this. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
November 1, 20241 yr This is nice for some to have, but I'll be honest, I just can't see myself using it. The sim menus are clunky and I hate the way it handles text - the W&B menu alone is enough to make me apoplectic. If I'm just auto-generating a route - sure, why not, but if I have to type more than a callsign I'll probably do it in the browser. More helpful would be a widget similar to the Flow Pro Simbrief widget, but for all.
November 1, 20241 yr Don't think I'll use it, just like I never used any Navigraph ingame panel. In the case of SB it's far more convenient to simply call up my browser with a single key click and do whatever I need to so and the remove the browser out of view with a single key click. To me it already feels like having an ingame panel. And real ingame panels often are less easy to get to and less easy to use. I don't understand what would be the benefit... Loading it takes ages too, so it seems. Nice idea but I'll pass.

Yeah... you lose me with the solid 30 seconds loading demonstrated by the video, and every time I have to open an in-sim panel. Now if 2024 has better handling of windows - we may be in business!

November 4, 20241 yr I'm glad others will get good use out of this. But as for me, anything like this I run via web browser or stand alone app and on my 2nd and 3rd monitor. I just find the in-game menus clunky, odd sizing of everything, doing anything feels a tad sluggish. If I didn't have access to a second monitor sure but doing it in a browser is a much more pleasant experience. November 4, 20241 yr This will be great for the VR crowd to be honest. I am with the camp of I use it on a second monitor so it may not be very useful for me. That and I’m waiting to see what 2024s planner gives in terms of usability.
November 4, 20241 yr ya I use the sim menu only for gsx too and boy do I struggle with it.. the shortcut key for gsx rarely works properly.. so everytime have to deal with clunky menu on the top ribbon.. but I am excited and curious about msfs24 built-in planner by WT.. can it take navigraph head-on and maybe even remove the need to sub to navigraph every month? i really wish we had the option to stay on a fixed airac.. most of us are not real pilots and do not absolutely need the latest airac data every month.. only time its useful is when new runways are added or new airports etc..
