How could they not have the numbers from the preorders from the MS store and Steam? That should have clued them in. This baffles me to no end. Ya this is what baffles me as well. Got a feeling that it's all/most of the gamepass users going gangbusters on installing it on day 1, but MS should have been prepared for this rather than estimating 200K users. I guess a good problem to have, but with the vast Azure resources MS has they should've overestimated. I think there was also a similar option in the MSFS 2020 store version. that's why I never used "validate" Edited November 20, 20241 yr by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.

November 20, 20241 yr Sim froze trying to end a flight so I had to restart, and now I'm back in the queue. However I was in for about two hours.
November 20, 20241 yr Politics or geeeeze grow up. So you are saying that validating is a bad thing.....Ok got it. Why is it there? You have the answers? Well? Chris Chiozza

What aircraft did you test? Very interested in hearing re: the 737 Max and A330 are as those would be the initial indications of the new FDE and CFD improvements with big airliners in MSFS 2024. MSFS 2024 will continue to redefine what to expect in a default aircraft I'm sure.
