Is there a Go Fund Me page for please help Azure buy more servers?

We need a festival with Taylor Swift and Greta Tunberg to raise money.

I need to see my psychiatrist - I have never thought of myself that I will be enjoying to witness suffering of such mass scale 😉

Where's the chosen one ?? I thought he would be here in full battle mode protecting the Ivory Towers, and slaying anyone who even hints at questioning the launch fiasco.

AMD Ryzen 7800x3d   64gb DDR5, Sapphire 7900 GPU MSSI Tomahawk AM5 M/Board. 1x 4tb Crucial M.2  SSD, 3x 2tb Crucial M.2 SSD's

This helps, it's better than the queue music.

I'm of two minds about this: On the one hand I experience a good amount of "schadenfreude" because I expected this to happen and didn't buy it yet.

On the other hand a very real and even stronger reason why I didn't is simply that I lack time to sit down and do proper simming in the next 2 weeks.

Had I been wrong about this becoming another server melting release I might even have bought it and tried to squeeze as much time out of my busy schedule to enjoy it.

But now I can't either way.

So I must admit, I would have loved to be wrong.

Looks like the status on the XBox service page has been downgraded from
"We're close to resolving the issue"
to
"We're working on the issue"

Timestamp is still fake and changes so it always looks like the message was posted a few minutes back though so not everything has changed.

Seriously? After a day or two the reviews will certainly swing the other direction.

There is currently mass hysteria because people can't play a game NOW.

I would like to play it now, it just isn't possible so I will just wait and try tomorrow, no big deal!

Imagine…paying for a game and wanting to play it on release day. The absolute nerve!

I'm out!

I would just rather wait in the queue if you dont mind?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Azure has more than enough capacity to cope with this load, it's likely that MS just didn't assign enough of it to the launch.

It probably doesn't help that Microsoft's Ignite conference is currently going on as well... I'm sure the Azure team is more concerned about the demos in that conference going smoothly in front of corporate customers who give MS millions than they are with overloaded MSFS server capacity.

Young man!

There's no need to feel down!

Don’t think this release could have gone any worse than it has. What a disaster for Microsoft.

Daniel

They just made another FB post 2 minutes ago that said the exact same thing as before.

I wonder if they even know what the issue is.  It's been almost 8 hours now.  Not sure I've seen an entire day go by on a product release before without any success or even an identification of what the problem is.

Sorry, we tried our best...but we had a deadline!

Btw, it has something to do with no beta testing...
