Dynamic lights (like logo lights, taxi lights, flood lights etc) randomly decide they don't want to render. At first I thought it was a bug with the aircraft, but I saw someone flying the same aircraft (the A330) on Twitch and their lights were working fine.

I give up what a waste of money it will not launch for me.

 

GSX works now FYI, update the FSDT launcher and you should get a new dropdown on the left to select 2024, then just click 'relink' next to GSX.

It doesn't install a new version, it just shares it with 2020.

Any tips on getting the Community folder to work? I had contrail install 2024 KSFO into correct file path but it doesn't show up in game.

Eclipses apparently work in 2024

 

 

Anybody else just have a black earth without texture? In The Netherlands here.

Also when clicking career mode it says not available due to server problems………

It works fine for me, zero issues. I open and close 2024 all the time today. Always boots up fast. It doesn't matter how much traffic is on their servers when I start the program. Because when it sees my Xbox handle it already has my assets in my own Official file in the cloud, it doesn't have to go and fetch them. It only had to go and fetch them that first successful login I made yesterday.  Once you load in fully even one time, with all assets showing in the Library, then you are set from that point in time going forward, with very few if any connection and streaming issues.

In what region do you live? Europe seems worse somehow

Low bandwidth on MSFS2020? Seriously it’s one thing messing up the launch of MSFS2024 but please don’t let it interfere with MSFS2020 which is working fine. This is an utter shambles.

Western USA. I"ve seen posts where Europeans use VPN and get onto a server in Western USA for starting up the sim.

I didn't/haven't had any issues with v2020 launching since v2024 released.

Quick note to say the sim is working rather well for me.

About half a dozen (short) flights in different Default aircraft so far.
