November 19, 20241 yr At 86% window suddenly closed (after an hour) - restart - at 5% loading language - for god's sake - I know it's only been out for a few hours - but shouldn't they have rethought this installation routine (even despite repeated complaints about MSFS2020)..what did they think 10 people were going to play MSFS to begin with !?! I love the MSFS but wouldn't it be better not to be able to download the packages outside the game ! After seeing in the presentation that even more content remains online, I was afraid of this ! November 19, 20241 yr Guys, it hasn't really sunken into me until now.. But I am afraid we bought a full Cloud Based AI Sim with a small install because the other what would be 100+ gigs is running on their servers. These are getting devoured by the masses trying to actually play it. It is a traffic jam on the internet!! This means we will have this on a weekly basis especially during weekends until they will upscale their server headroom for the demand. I am happy we have still 2020. I only hope that it doesn't get server outages because of this 2024 mess. They should have given us a normal installation.
