Where does one find the livery config file?

I don't think a livery.cfg file will work for a 2020 livery. I downloaded one of the Ini a330 liveries and poked through the file structure to see what changed.

  • Also, I like how on one hand, you have PMDG blaming Asobo (as usual) for everything and throwing a tantrum because they can't release for 2024. Then yet again Fenix just 1-ups them immediately and rel

Flying it now at night, it will require a special configuration (like MSFS) for the Thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant but otherwise seems fine. Horrible night lighting -global issue- and the aircraft selection screen is also horrible, but these are not Fenix's fault.

Just confirming (I believe I read this in their Blog) but the same update can be used for MS 2020 without issue, correct?

Thank-you!

These guys are such kings. Makes me excited to be a simmer. The people/streamers that refunded as they were having a tantrum just have some patience.

Got it working. If anyone has troubles like I did: I had it installed in MSFS 2020 at the same time, I believe that is not possible. After removing it from both sims, and reinstalling in MSFS 2024, I got couple of popups to activate windows firewall and one popup from Fenix, and then it booted up correctly.

Now... another issue: did someone try night flying with Fenix and DLSS enabled? Gruesome. Everything is shimmering like crazy. Switched to TAA/100, is now looking fine.

Just installed the Fenix A320 into MSFS 2024. Looks good and works so far.

Also Simbrief FPL Data import works as usual.

But I am struggling, with the brakes issue (no Fenix problem).

Parkling break is released, no chocks, Thrust is set, but airplane does not move.

I tried several brake key assignments, brakes are released, but not moving.

Any hints to help me ?

This is the problem I had. I quit a couple of times and came back in. Don't know what I did but finally got it to work. In fact I was trying a default plane inibuilds 330 and I couldn't get it to move. Then finding out about Fenix loaded it up and it happened as well. I was using sayintentions and shut that down. After closing it and starting a new flight everything worked. So that may have been my culprit.

Strange as I have both sims still installed and have been switching between both and the Finix works fine on both!

I just flew into MK Studios KPHL runway 27. On 2020 this was always a tire fire with a massive stutter as I got close to runway.

I had better performance with the Fenix and 2024 for sure.

first flight LDDU > LDRI: worked like a charm ! very fluid ! only draw back blurry external texture. this sim is going to be epic in few months once server issues will be managed

Someone else said that MSFS 2024 now has a working tilt function on their default WX radar (Can anyone else confirm this?

Yes it does. Works in the A330s.

And it actually does change the depicted WX picture?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Yes.

Do you also have an issue with typing in the EFB? It says controls are frozen while keyboard input is active, however they are not - when typing, my sim is reacting according to the assignments.

Au contraire, mon Capitan. It's very much possible.

So what I'm currently seing as an issue is the Navigraph moving map. The same issue exists in the G1000 and 3000 plugin. The display is all bugged out as it tries to follow along.
